What Is Socrates Award?
The Socrates Award, as we mentioned earlier, is handed out to the player or coaches or foundations who did the best humanitarian work for the given football calendar. Saka even read out a story about how the charity helped a 14-year-old boy from Rwanda regain his eyesight after starting to lose it at the meagre age of 12. France football rightly awarded the Socrates Award 2026 to the Englishman, as they have done over the years.
