Who Is Duda Gaspar? The Brazilian Model Linked to Douglas Luiz

Aston Villa's Douglas Luiz recently went public on Instagram to confirm his rumoured relationship with 19-year-old Brazilian model and influencer Duda Gaspar. The midfielder was previously in a relationship with one of the hottest female footballers, Alisha Lehmann, before they separated in December 2025.

The Leicester City Women attacker was rumoured to have entered a new romance with semi-professional footballer and Love Island star Montel McKenzie in January 2026. Luiz has since moved on to dating Duda Gaspar, who is also the daughter of former Arsenal and Valencia footballer and Nottingham Forest global head of football, Edu Gaspar.

After joining Nottm Forest in July 2025, Edu brought in the Brazilian midfielder on loan from Juventus for six months. While it remains unknown whether Duda and Douglas Luiz knew each other before his move to Nottingham, the couple announced their relationship to the public recently.

Luiz’s new girlfriend posted a photo of the pair on her Instagram overnight, showing her arms around the Villans footballer. Duda, who has around 59k followers on the social media platform, told her fans in a public message alongside the couple's picture: 'You are my greatest certainty,' followed by a heart emoticon.

The news comes at a time when Duda's father, Edu Gaspar, is possibly facing exit from Nottm Forest under pressure from the ownership, who have ordered him to stay away from the team's training ground. While the former Brazilian player is expected to head back to his country, it is safe to say Duda will be continuing in England alongside the Aston Villa midfielder.

How Has Douglas Luiz Performed At Aston Villa?

Luiz has made eight appearances for the Midlands side this season in the English Premier League, but will be looking to end the season with significant goal contributions under Unai Emery. While he has had successful stints with the Villans in the past, it will be interesting to see whether Aston Villa decides to make his move permanent in the summer.
