Nottingham Forest have great expectations to enhance their reputation as one of the best teams in the Premier League in the 2025/26 season, and they've had an eventful summer transfer window to try and back that up. Nottingham Forest have made several eye-catching signings, but a promising option for the future is the signing of Arnaud Kalimuendo. The French football team has produced many talents.
The Premier League side reportedly spent over £25 million to secure the signing of the French forward to add more firepower to their frontline and increase the depth of options for the no.9 position. In Kalimuendo, they've gotten a hard-working striker who spent his entire career playing in France before his move to the English club and someone with a fascinating history.
Born in the Suresnes commune of Paris, France, on 20 January 2002, Arnaud Kalimuendo started dreaming of becoming a footballer from a really young age. The Arnaud Kalimuendo family is a relatively small one, as he is one of five children of his Congolese parents, Mr and Mrs Arthur Kalimuendo. Thanks to the help from the Arnaud Kalimuendo family, Arnaud took up a love for football as a child and started his footballing journey at the age of six, when he joined up with FC Saint Cloud in Paris. His impressive work with the local team impressed the scouts of Paris Saint-Germain so much that they integrated him into their youth academy when Arnaud was only about ten. As he continued his education, Arnaud Kalimuendo focused on improving himself into a dangerous striker and continued to take major steps forward in his career. He went on to be a part of the PSG youth academy for nine years, learning all his skills and qualities with the French giants. Kalimuendo earned a name for himself by impressing for PSG's youth teams in tournaments, helping them win the Alkass U-17 International Cup in January 2018 with some vital goals as well. He shone for PSG's youth teams in the 2018/19 UEFA Youth League, scoring five goals en route to the knockout stages.
