The dedicated athlete, Brandon Fernandes career started at a young age. Football became a part of his life when he joined France-Pix. Salgaocar, Velsao Pale SC, and Goa United FA are other clubs at his youth level. The turning point in his career was when he joined the ASD Cape Town Academy, a South African club, to learn advanced skills. Later, he debuted at the senior level for ASD Cape Town, and in India, his senior debut club was for Sporting Club de Goa. He has played for clubs like Mohun Bagan, Churchill Brothers FC. Mumbai City FC and FC Goa are other major Indian clubs he served.
Beginning his club career from youth teams like Fransa-Pax, Velsao Pale SC, Goa United FA, Salgaocar, and ASD Cape Town to playing for giant clubs like FC Goa and Mumbai City FC, shows a proud journey. Brandon had lots of transfers in his football career. Sporting Club de Goa, Mohun Bagan Super Giant, and Churchill Brothers FC are clubs where he has scored goals and made a good contribution when he was with them. Joining FC Goa in 2017 and departing the team in 2024, he has spent most of his ISL matches with Goa. In the seven years with the team, he has captained from 2022 to 2024, and he is the one who has the most assists in the team. Fernandes joined Mumbai City FC in 2024. He was with the team in 2015 for a short period of time, and now he has a three-year contract with the team.
The Indian player made his debut for the country at the senior level in 2019. So far, he has played a total of 27 matches. He has been in the youth team also, and participated in the U19. One of the greatest achievements he earned while playing for India is, he was part of the team when the country won the South Asian Championship. He has also been an Asia Cup participant.
