Pacos De Ferreria: Although Fabio Cardoso had spent almost nine years with Benfica, he never managed to break into the first team. He did play for their B team or reserves, making over 50 appearances, but was then loaned to fellow Primera Liga side Pacos De Ferreira in 2015 for a season -ong loan. The deal was repeated once again and overall, he amassed 43 appearances for Pacos De Ferreira, in which he had a goal and an assist.
Vitoria De Setubal: Fabio joined Vitoria Setubal in July 2016, signing a four-year contract with them and making 27 appearances for them in his only season.
