AC Milan 0-2 Ferencvaros Player Ratings: Milan's Abysmal Run In The Europa League Continues As They Lose At Home To Hungarian Outfit

Ruben Amorim's AC Milan took the field against Ferencvaros in a bid to improve their chances of a top-eight finish in the UEFA Europa League. Neither side found a way through in the first half, and Milan were the superior side.

Ferencvaros had the better opportunities in the first half, though, with Lenny Joseph squandering two very good chances. Credit must go to Lorenzo Torriani, who did really well for the Rossoneri on both of those occasions.

AC Milan hit the axe on their own foot, as Lorenzo Torriani failed to control a backpass and had no idea about Kristoffer Zachariassen charging down on him. The goalkeeper lost the ball cheaply, and Lenny Joseph finished it into an empty net.

The Hungarian club scored their second goal through a counterattack, as Kristoffer Zachariassen was put through in acres of space, but he unselfishly passed it to Joseph, who tapped it home to score his second of the night.

Substitute Bamidele Yusuf was sent off in the 77th minute due to an elbow on Mario Gila, but the visitors managed the rest of the game well to secure important three points to go top of the table.
