Predrag Rajković - 7.5: Had a relatively quiet night but was alert when called upon. He made three saves, including a couple of decent stops in the second half that snuffed out any hope for Al Sharjah. A clean sheet is a clean sheet, and his distribution was solid enough. We noticed his positioning was excellent throughout.

Defenders

Jan-Carlo Simić - 7.0: A strong and composed display from the young defender. He won the majority of his duels (8 out of 11) and was comfortable on the ball with 94% pass accuracy. Picked up a yellow card in the first half which was his only real blemish. Otherwise, a very mature performance.

Fabinho - 7.0: Slotting into the backline, he looked as assured as ever. His reading of the game was top-notch, making two key interceptions and four clearances. From our perspective, his experience brought a real sense of calm to the defense. He rarely looked troubled and kept possession ticking over nicely.

Mario Mitaj - 8.0: What a player. He was a machine down the left flank. Defensively immense, winning 10 duels and making three successful tackles. He was also a constant outlet going forward, showing great energy and skill. A complete full-back performance that really stood out.
