Al Nassr faced Al Shabab on matchday 15 of the Saudi Pro League 2025/26 season. Al Nassr seemed to be in cruise control, but they faced quite a few hiccups before grabbing all three points. They are back on winning terms after three defeats on the trot against Al Ahli, Al Qadisiyah, and Al Hilal, respectively, even after having a stupendous start to the season, where they were unbeaten for a total of 10 games on the trot.

Al Nassr took the opportunity quite well, as they managed to take the lead in the 76th minute from a neat strike by Abdulrahman Ghareeb. The hosts saw off the danger quite nicely, keeping 10-man Al Shabab at bay to keep their title charge alive.
