It was a complete demolition at the Allianz Arena. From our perspective, this match was over before it really began. FC Bayern München were utterly relentless, playing with a swagger and confidence that Club Brugge simply couldn't live with. The floodgates opened early. It only took five minutes for Lennart Karl to smash one in from distance, and you just knew it was going to be a long night for the visitors.

Bayern Munich vs Club Brugge Player Ratings: Díaz Rated 8.5, Kane Impresses with 8/10

The first half felt like a training ground exercise for the German giants Bayern Munich. They moved the ball with such speed and precision. Harry Kane inevitably got on the scoresheet, followed by a brilliant finish from Luis Díaz to make it 3-0 before the break. What stood out to us was the sheer helplessness of the Brugge players; they were chasing shadows, unable to get a foothold in the game. This was total football, a masterclass in attacking play in the Champions League. The second half was more of the same, with Bayern managing the game and adding a fourth through a substitute, capping off a perfect European night.
Bayern Munich Player Ratings vs Club Brugge
Goalkeeper
Manuel Neuer - 7.0: Honestly, he could have brought a deckchair out for most of this game. He was a spectator for large periods. However, when called upon, he made two important saves look easy. His distribution was, as always, immaculate, starting attacks from the back. A quiet but composed evening for the captain.
Defenders
Dayot Upamecano - 7.0: Had very little to do defensively, which tells you everything about Bayern's dominance. He was strong and assertive when needed. He did commit a couple of needless fouls, but overall it was a comfortable outing before his substitution. Didn't put a foot wrong.
Jonathan Tah - 8.0: A Rolls-Royce of a performance at the back. He was imperious. Not only did he keep things tidy, but his pass for the opening goal was sublime. He completed 100% of his passes, which is just insane. Looked so comfortable and composed on the ball all night.
Raphaël Guerreiro - 6.5: A solid if unspectacular game from the Portuguese defender. He did his job diligently on the left flank. He was neat in possession and didn't really get tested defensively. Subbed off after 69 minutes, having put in a decent shift.
Konrad Laimer - 9.0: What a player. From our perspective, he was the clear man of the match. He provided two assists with perfectly timed runs and passes. He was a constant threat going forward and incredibly diligent in his defensive duties. An all-action display that tore Club Brugge apart down the right side.

Midfielders
Joshua Kimmich - 8.0: The metronome in the heart of midfield. He dictated the entire pace of the game. With over 100 touches, he was everywhere, spraying passes left and right and creating three chances. It was a midfield masterclass in control and tempo. He made it look so, so easy.
Michael Olise - 7.5: A livewire on the wing. He was a constant source of danger with his tricky dribbling and desire to take players on. His final ball was a bit hit-and-miss, but he created four chances and was unlucky to hit the woodwork. Caused problems all evening for the opposition.
Aleksandar Pavlovic - 8.5: This kid is special. He absolutely ran the show alongside Kimmich. Over 100 passes with 99% accuracy is just phenomenal for any player, let alone one so young. He was composed, progressive, and unlucky not to score, hitting the post. A truly mature performance beyond his years.
Lennart Karl - 8.0: Got the party started with a stunning strike from outside the box. His goal set the tone for the entire match. He continued to be a goal threat with his smart runs and powerful shooting until he was substituted. A very impressive and impactful display.
Forwards
Harry Kane - 8.0: The man just scores goals. Kane was in the right place at the right time for his tap-in. He could have had a hat-trick on another night, hitting the post and forcing a good save. His all-round play was excellent, linking up play and being a constant nuisance.
Luis Díaz - 8.5: An electrifying performance. He scored a fantastic goal and was a terror for the Brugge defence with his direct running. Created chances, got four shots on target, and never stopped working. We noticed his confidence was sky-high tonight, and it showed in his play.

Substitutes
Nicolas Jackson - 7.5: Came on and immediately made an impact, grabbing a goal with a poacher's finish. Looked sharp and dangerous.
Leon Goretzka - 6.5: Slotted into midfield and kept things ticking over smoothly.
Tom Bischof - 6.5: Looked tidy in his cameo appearance.
Min-Jae Kim - 6.0: Brought on to see the game out and picked up a late yellow card.
Wisdom Mike - N/A: Not on long enough to make a significant impact.
Manager
V. Kompany - 8.5: His game plan was executed to perfection. He sent his team out to attack from the first minute and they never let up. The tactical setup completely overwhelmed Club Brugge. A flawless night at the office for the Bayern manager.

Club Brugge Player Ratings vs Bayern Munich
Goalkeeper
Nordin Jackers - 8.0: Without a doubt, Club Brugge's best player. He conceded four goals, but it could have easily been eight or nine without him. He made seven saves, some of which were absolutely world-class. A truly heroic performance in a losing effort. Deserves immense credit.
Defenders
Joel Ordóñez - 6.0: It was a torrid night for the entire defence, and he was no exception. He battled hard but was constantly pulled out of position by Bayern's intelligent movement. Made a few clearances but was part of a backline that was simply outclassed.
Bjorn Meijer - 5.5: Had the impossible task of dealing with Bayern's rampant right side. He was run ragged all evening. To his credit, he never gave up, but he lost most of his duels and was dribbled past multiple times. A very tough night.
Brandon Mechele - 6.0: Tried his best to marshal a sinking ship. He threw himself in front of shots and made some important blocks. However, he was ultimately powerless to stop the relentless wave of Bayern attacks. A difficult evening for the defender.
Kyriani Sabbe - 5.0: A night to forget. He was completely overwhelmed by Luis Díaz and was rightly hooked at halftime. He offered no defensive security and struggled to make any impact on the game. Looked out of his depth.

Midfielders
Christos Tzolis - 6.0: One of the few Brugge players who actually looked like he might create something. He had a shot on target and tried to be positive on the ball. However, he spent most of the game tracking back and was largely on the periphery.
Hans Vanaken - 5.5: The captain was anonymous for large parts of the game. He was completely bypassed by the Bayern midfield. We expected more leadership from him, but he couldn't get on the ball or influence the game in any meaningful way.
Aleksandar Stanković - 4.5: A really, really poor performance. From our perspective, he was the worst player on the pitch. He was sloppy in possession, lost his duels, and offered zero protection for his back four. A liability in midfield.
Lynnt Audoor - 6.0: Ran his socks off but was fighting a losing battle. He was out-muscled and out-passed by his direct opponents. Showed plenty of effort but was ultimately lacking the quality needed on this stage.
Carlos Forbs - 5.5: Barely featured in the first half before being substituted. He was a passenger in the game, unable to get involved or provide any attacking threat. A disappointing outing.
Forwards
Nicolò Tresoldi - 5.0: An isolated and thankless task. He had virtually no service and was easily marshalled by the Bayern defenders. He touched the ball just 28 times, which says it all. You have to feel for him a little bit.
Substitutes
Hugo Siquet - 6.0: Came on at halftime and fared slightly better than Sabbe, but the damage was already done.
Jorne Spileers - 6.0: Brought on to try and shore things up, but Bayern's attack was relentless.
Romeo Vermant - 5.5: Struggled to get into the game and made little impact.
Mamadou Diakhon - N/A: Little time to influence the match.
Manager
N. Hayen - 5.0: His team looked star-struck and unprepared for Bayern's intensity. The tactics were naive, leaving his defence exposed time and time again. He failed to make any changes that altered the course of the game. A very bad day at the office.
