Goalkeeper
Jordan Pickford - 6.5: Had a relatively quiet day compared to his opposite number. What stood out to us was his command of the area, coming out for one decisive punch and three clearances. His distribution was a bit hit-and-miss, losing possession 16 times, but he was never truly tested with a difficult save. A steady, if unspectacular, performance between the sticks.
Defenders
Michael Keane - 8.0: A colossal performance at the heart of the defence. We noticed he was an absolute magnet to the ball, making a staggering 10 clearances and winning 7 aerial duels. He put his body on the line with two blocked shots and was a dominant force throughout. An old-school defensive masterclass that was crucial to securing the clean sheet.
James Tarkowski - 7.5: The captain led by example. He was almost as dominant as his partner, with 9 clearances of his own. What impressed us was how he managed the game, drawing three fouls to relieve pressure. He was strong in his duels and kept the backline organized against a physical Burnley attack.
Jake O'Brien - 7.5: A really promising display from the defender. He was strong in the air, winning five headers, and was very composed for someone so young. He even popped up with a header on target late in the game, forcing a save. From our perspective, he didn't put a foot wrong all game.
Vitaliy Mykolenko - 6.5: A very mixed bag of a performance. Going forward, he was a genuine threat, creating three key passes. However defensively, he seemed to struggle, winning only a quarter of his duels and losing possession an alarming 20 times. His attacking output saves his rating from being lower.

Midfielders
Dwight McNeil - 7.0: You can never fault his work rate. He was up and down the wing all day, contributing defensively with four tackles and a clearance. His final product wasn't always there, but he constantly provided an outlet and kept Burnley's right side occupied. A tireless shift.
Tyler Dibling - 7.0: A very lively and direct performance. He was always looking to take his man on, attempting five dribbles and succeeding with four of them. He created two chances and looked like a spark for Everton, though his end product was sometimes lacking. The late yellow card was a bit silly.
Carlos Alcaraz - 7.0: For a while, he looked like the only Everton player who might score. He had five shots, two of which forced excellent saves from the keeper. He was busy, getting on the ball and trying to make things happen. He did fade out of the game before being substituted.
James Garner - 8.5: Our highest-rated Everton player. He was absolutely everywhere in midfield. He made a remarkable 7 tackles, controlled the tempo with his passing, and created two chances including one big one. He was the engine room and the composed head all in one. A truly complete midfield performance.
Tim Iroegbunam - 5.5: A day to forget for the midfielder. He struggled to get a foothold in the game, losing possession 17 times and his error led directly to a Burnley shot. He attempted an incredible 10 dribbles but was only successful twice, showing a lot of intent but very little execution. Looked frustrated.
Forwards
Beto - 5.0: It just wasn't his day. He was physically present, winning five aerials, but his touch often let him down and he lost possession 10 times in just 70 minutes. The big chance he missed in the second half was a defining moment of the match. He looked isolated and frustrated.

Substitutes
Merlin Röhl - 6.0: Came on for Alcaraz but couldn't really get into the game's rhythm.
Thierno Barry - 6.0: Replaced Beto but found it equally difficult to make an impact against a resolute Burnley defence.
Nathan Patterson - N/A: Not on long enough to rate, but did force a save with a late header.
Manager
D. Moyes - 6.5: He set his team up to be defensively solid, and they achieved that with a clean sheet. The game plan created chances, but his forwards couldn't convert them. The substitutions he made didn't have the desired effect to break the deadlock.

Goalkeeper
Martin Dúbravka - 9.0: The clear Man of the Match. An absolutely heroic performance that earned his team a point. He made six saves, all from inside the box, including a stunning stop to deny Alcaraz. He commanded his area with authority, making five punches. Flawless.
Defenders
Bashir Humphreys - 7.0: A strong and reliable performance. He won 7 of his 12 duels and made 5 crucial clearances. While his passing could have been tidier at times, his primary job was to defend, and he did that very well indeed.
Hjalmar Ekdal - 8.0: A warrior's performance. He won an incredible 10 of his 16 duels and made 8 clearances. He was a constant thorn in the side of Beto, dominating him in the air and on the ground. A fantastic defensive showing.
Josh Laurent - 7.5: Playing in an unfamiliar defensive role, he was outstanding. He won 11 duels and made 7 tackles, showing immense tenacity and desire. He adapted brilliantly and was one of Burnley's best performers, a real surprise package for us.

Midfielders
Kyle Walker - 6.0: A very frustrating performance to watch. He lost possession an incredible 26 times, which killed many of Burnley's attacks. He worked hard and won his aerial duels, but his carelessness on the ball was a major issue.
Lesley Ugochukwu - 6.5: A mixed bag. He showed good energy and recovered the ball 7 times, but he was also loose in possession and dispossessed three times. You can see the talent is there, but he needs to be more consistent throughout the 90 minutes.
Lucas Pires - 6.5: Got into some dangerous positions and attempted 5 crosses, but his delivery was poor with only one finding a teammate. Defensively, he was dribbled past three times, which is a concern. A game of nearlys and not-quites.
Josh Cullen - 6.0: The captain was having a steady, if quiet, game before his unfortunate injury. He was tidy in possession but wasn't able to impose himself on the match in the 53 minutes he played. His departure disrupted Burnley's rhythm.
Forwards
Jacob Bruun Larsen - 6.0: A wasteful day for the forward. He got into good areas and had three shots but failed to hit the target with any of them. Missing a big chance in the first half summed up his afternoon. Plenty of effort but no end product.
Marcus Edwards - 7.0: Burnley's main creative outlet. He created three chances, including one big chance, and was always looking for that killer pass. His influence waned as the game went on, but for long periods, he was the most likely to unlock the Everton defence.
Armando Broja - 6.0: He was a physical nightmare for the defenders but so inefficient. Losing 13 duels and giving the ball away 19 times is just not good enough. He worked hard and occupied the centre-backs but offered very little genuine goal threat.
Substitutes
Florentino - 6.5: Came on for the injured Cullen and added a bit of drive. Had a couple of decent long-range efforts that weren't far away.
Jaidon Anthony - 6.0: Tried to get involved but found it hard to make an impact against a set Everton defence.
Mike Trésor - N/A: Not on long enough to rate.
Zian Flemming - N/A: Not on long enough to rate.
Manager
S. Parker - 7.0: His team looked organised and incredibly resilient. He will be thrilled with the clean sheet and the fighting spirit his team showed. His game plan worked to frustrate Everton, and they were unlucky not to nick a goal on the counter.
Sportsdunia's player of the match is Martin Dubravka
