Brentford vs Bournemouth Player Ratings as Kevin Schade's Hat-Trick Demolishes Cherries in 4-1 Rout

Summary
Brentford were simply on another level today, completely dismantling a helpless AFC Bournemouth in a stunning 4-1 victory. From the first whistle at the Gtech Community Stadium, the home side looked hungry, and it didn't take them long to prove it. The star of the show, without a shadow of a doubt, was Kevin Schade. The man was simply unplayable. He opened the scoring just seven minutes in, setting the tone for a long afternoon for the visitors. Bournemouth's misery was compounded before halftime with a calamitous own goal from their keeper, and Schade wasn't done yet, adding his second right after the break to make it 3-0. He completed his hat-trick in spectacular fashion, securing his status as the highest-rated player on the pitch.
AFC Bournemouth did manage a consolation goal through Antoine Semenyo, who was a lone bright spark. But it was far too little, too late. This Premier League fixture was a statement win for Brentford, who looked every bit the dominant force. Here are Sportsdunia's Brentford vs Bournemouth player ratings.

Goalkeeper
Djordje Petrovic - 4.5: A truly miserable day for the keeper. He was left exposed time, and again by his defense, that's true. But the own goal was a moment of sheer misfortune that summed up his afternoon. He did make four saves, preventing an even bigger humiliation. Still, conceding four and making an error that led to a shot is a tough stat line to look at.
Defenders
Adrien Truffert - 5.0: Looked completely out of his depth. He was constantly troubled by Brentford's wide players and struggled immensely in his duels. Winning only 18% of them tells its own story. Hooked after 78 minutes, but the damage was long done. A performance to forget.
Marcos Senesi - 5.5: Racked up some clearances, but that's about the only positive. He had an error leading to a shot and was part of a backline that was torn to shreds. He looked a step off the pace throughout the game and lost most of his duels. Not his finest hour by any means.
Adam Smith - 5.0: The captain lasted just 45 minutes before being substituted. In that time, his side conceded twice and he offered very little going forward or defensively. It felt like a mercy substitution. A very quiet and ineffective first half.
Bafodé Diakité - 5.0: Just like his defensive partner, Smith, he was hauled off at halftime. He was poor in possession and won just one of his five duels. He looked completely overwhelmed by the pace and movement of Brentford's attack. A shocking 45 minutes.

Midfielders
Lewis Cook - 6.5: At least he showed some fight. He put in a shift, making three tackles and three interceptions. He was trying to drag his team forward but was fighting a losing battle against a superior midfield. A respectable effort in a disastrous team performance.
Alex Scott - 7.0: One of the few Bournemouth players who can hold his head high. He was brilliant in his duels, winning almost all of them, and created a couple of decent chances. His injury and subsequent substitution was a real blow, as he was their best player until that point.
Marcus Tavernier - 6.0: He was busy and his passing was tidy, but there was little end product. He whipped in 13 crosses but only found a teammate twice. Picked up a yellow card for his troubles. Worked hard but lacked the quality to make a real difference.
Álex Jiménez - 6.0: Showed some nice flashes with his dribbling, managing to beat his man a few times. However, he was often wasteful in possession and offered little defensive cover. A mixed bag of a performance, really. You wanted to see more from him.
Forwards
Eli Kroupi - 5.0: Barely had a kick. He was completely anonymous in the first half and it was no surprise to see him substituted at the break. Touched the ball just 17 times. It's tough for a forward when your team is being dominated, but he offered nothing.
Antoine Semenyo - 7.5: The lone bright spot in attack. He was a constant threat, registering five shots and deservedly got his goal. He never stopped running and trying to make things happen. It's just a shame the rest of his team weren't on the same wavelength. A very good individual display.

Substitutes
David Brooks - 6.0: Came on and tried to provide a spark but couldn't change the game's trajectory.
Evanilson - 6.0: Forced a good save from the keeper but was otherwise contained.
Justin Kluivert - 5.5: Got booked and didn't offer much of an upgrade on Kroupi.
Manager
A. Iraola - 4.5: His team was unprepared and outclassed from the very start. The halftime changes were necessary but ultimately futile. The defensive setup was a shambles and they were picked apart with ease. A truly dreadful day at the office for the manager.

Goalkeeper
Caoimhín Kelleher - 8.5: What a display. He made eight saves, some of which were absolutely top-drawer. Despite conceding, he was a commanding presence and his distribution was solid. When his defence was breached, he stood tall. Bournemouth would have had a few more if not for him.
Defenders
Rico Henry - 6.0: A mostly solid outing, but his rating is docked for a big error that led to a goal. It was a lapse in concentration that stained an otherwise decent performance. Before that, he was dependable and contributed to the team's defensive solidity.
Kristoffer Ajer - 8.0: An absolute monster at the back. We counted 20 clearances. Twenty! He was a magnet for the ball, heading and kicking everything that came his way. A dominant, old-school defensive performance that was a joy to watch.
Nathan Collins - 7.5: The captain led by example with a commanding performance. He made 10 clearances and blocked four shots, putting his body on the line for the cause. He organized the backline brilliantly and was a calming influence throughout.
Michael Kayode - 8.0: What a performance from the full-back. He won an incredible 88% of his duels and was a rock defensively. He made several key tackles and interceptions. He also got forward well when he could. An outstanding all-around display.

Midfielders
Kevin Schade - 9.5: Simply sensational. The man of the match and it wasn't even close. A clinical hat-trick where he showcased his finishing ability with both feet. He was a constant nightmare for the Bournemouth defence. This was a star-making performance. We couldn't give him a 10, but he was incredibly close.
Mathias Jensen - 7.0: A really combative and energetic display in the middle of the park. He won the majority of his duels and made some crucial tackles. The yellow card was a slight blemish, but he was a key part of Brentford's midfield dominance before being subbed.
Yegor Yarmolyuk - 8.0: The creative spark in midfield. He grabbed a well-deserved assist and was always looking to play a forward pass. Created two big chances and controlled the tempo of the game beautifully. A very mature and impressive performance.
Keane Lewis-Potter - 6.5: A solid, if unspectacular, performance. He worked hard for the team and created a couple of chances for his teammates. His movement off the ball was intelligent, but he was sometimes caught offside. A good team player.
Vitaly Janelt - 7.5: So unlucky not to score after hitting the woodwork. He was incredibly tidy in possession, with a 90% pass accuracy. He kept things ticking over in midfield and recovered the ball seven times. A very effective and composed performance.
Forwards
Igor Thiago - 8.0: While he didn't score, he was instrumental in the attack. He provided the assist for the opening goal and created two big chances. His hold-up play was excellent, and he was a real physical handful for the Bournemouth defenders all afternoon.
Substitutes
Aaron Hickey - 6.5: Came on and slotted in seamlessly at the back.
Mikkel Damsgaard - 6.5: Looked lively and kept the pressure on the Bournemouth midfield.
Manager
K. Andrews - 9.0: His game plan was executed to perfection. His team started on the front foot and never let up. The attacking setup was fluid and ruthless, while the defence was organised and resilient. A tactical masterclass that led to a huge win.
