Chelsea started the game on the front foot, as they have done in most matches this season. Their early attacking approach helped them put pressure on Everton from the opening minutes. Everton, who have been in good form this season, absorbed the early pressure well and tried to respond with the same intensity. However, both teams failed to find the net in the first 20 minutes.

After Everton completed a move in the 19th minute, London based club Chelsea quickly transitioned forward. As expected, it was “Cold” Palmer who broke the deadlock with a well taken goal. The goal capped off a strong first-half display and ensured Chelsea went into halftime firmly in control, fully deserving of their two-goal lead.

After half-time, both teams failed to score, but hunger was clearly visible on both sides as they tried their level best to score and snatch the match in their favour. While you may think Everton had a poor performance, in reality they played well and had 'real' chances in the second half.
