Barcelona picked up a thrilling 5-0 win over Daegu FC in their final preseason match of the 2025 Asia tour on Monday, 4 August 2025. Gavi, Robert Lewandowski, Marcus Rashford and Antonio Fernandez all got among the goals in a five-star display for Hansi Flick's side.

Barcelona started dominating proceedings from the get-go and needed some time to really tap into their decisive best. After some minor early scares, which included Daegu winger Geovani fluffing a chance, Barcelona took the lead in the 21st minute thanks to a left-footed long-range goal from Gavi. They quickly doubled the lead as Robert Lewandowski finished off a swift move with a close-range finish in the 27th minute. Gavi then completed his brace in the 45th minute by chipping the goalkeeper to make it 3-0!

Hansi Flick made a huge number of changes in the second half, but that didn't impact the Barcelona domination. Substitute Antonio Fernandez scored his side fourth goal to make it 4-0 in the 53th minute after a slick passing move, and Marcus Rashford scored his first Barcelona goal in the 65th minute to seal a dominant win for his side. This win means that Barcelona have won all their matches in the preseason tour of Asia and move into the upcoming Joan Gampar trophy match with momentum on their side.

Goalkeeper

Seung-Hoon Oh - 4/10

Seong-Won Jang - 5.5/10

Seong-Won Jang was arguably his side's best defender on the night, making some key challenges. However, even he was caught in a bad position for Lewandowski's goal.

Jin-Hyuk Kim -4.5/10

Jin-Hyuk was repeatedly caught in awkward positions, often forcing his side to lose their defensive shape and allowing empty room to be created. Easily outwitted by Gavi for his second gola.

Woo couldn't deal with the pace of Barcelona's attacks and was into quite a few errors. Struggled to deal with Lewandowski's movement and was caught in bad positions multiple times.

Jae-Won Hwang - 5/10

Jae-Won Hwang had a nightmare in dealing with the tricky Yamal. He was repeatedly dribbled past by the winger and struggled to keep up with him. Worked hard to make some challenges, but was outwitted too many times.

Midfielders

Hyun-Chul Jung - 6/10

Hyun-Chul Kang was arguably one of the better Daegu FC players, as he worked hard to try and keep Barcelona quiet in the central areas. He came up with many key clearances and made a number of key possession recoveries as well.

Jeong-Hyun Kim - 5.5/10

Kim was a bit sloppy with his passing, giving the ball away quite often and succumbing to Barcelona's presses. But he did relatively well in winning the ball back and helping his side defensively on occasions.

Chi-In Jung - 5/10

Jung had a pretty forgettable outing as he was really unable to threat the Barcelona backline. Made a few nice runs, but his final product was awry and he lacked creativity.

Forwards

Geovani - 4/10

Geovani had a huge chance to give his side the lead in the first half, but he somehow managed to divert a shot wide from an open goal situation. Struggled to create much after that.

Cesinha - 5.5/10

Cesinha was a livewire in the Barcelona half, troubling them with his movement and setting up a few innovative attacking moves. Struggled to really add any goal threat.

Bruno Lamas - 6/10

Lamas did well to attract fouls with his physicality and link-up play. However, he barely got any service and wasn't able to create anything for himself.
