Dean Henderson - 7.0: A fairly quiet evening for the Palace keeper, which speaks volumes about his defence. He commanded his area well, making a couple of good high claims. Henderson was called into action late on and produced a fantastic save to preserve his clean sheet. His distribution was solid enough, getting the team moving from the back.

Defenders

Maxence Lacroix - 7.0: A composed performance at the back. We noticed he was strong in his duels and made several crucial clearances when Kyiv tried to apply pressure. He passed the ball with an impressive 90% accuracy, rarely putting a foot wrong. A very steady display.

Marc Guéhi - 7.5: The captain led by example. He was a rock in the heart of the defence, winning his tackles and reading the game brilliantly. What stood out to us was his calmness on the ball, often stepping into midfield to start attacks. He was a real leader out there tonight.

Chris Richards - 7.0: Incredibly tidy in possession, boasting a 96% pass accuracy. He didn't try anything flashy; he just did his job effectively. He was solid defensively, making a couple of important interceptions and tackles. An underrated but vital part of the clean sheet.

Midfielders

Daniel Muñoz - 8.5: What a game from the midfielder. He scored the crucial opening goal with a powerful header. Beyond the goal, he was a constant threat, creating three chances and winning the majority of his duels. He was everywhere before being substituted late on for a well-deserved rest.

Will Hughes - 6.0: A bit of an off night for Hughes. He worked hard but was a little clumsy, giving away a foul and picking up a yellow card. He was substituted early in the second half as the manager looked for more control. Not his best game by any means.

Adam Wharton - 8.0: The creative hub of the team. Wharton was exceptional, creating four chances including one big chance. He was always looking for that killer pass to unlock the Kyiv defense. We were particularly impressed with his vision and range of passing throughout the game.

Borna Sosa - 3.5: A disaster of a performance. He was a liability from the start, committing needless fouls and eventually getting himself sent off for a second yellow card. He completely let his team and the manager down with his lack of discipline. A night he'll want to forget very quickly.

Forwards

Yéremy Pino - 9.0: The undisputed man of the match. He was absolutely electric. He provided two assists and was a nightmare for the opposition defenders to handle. His dribbling was superb and his final ball was consistently brilliant. The highest rated player on the pitch and it’s easy to see why. A joy to watch.

Jean-Philippe Mateta - 5.0: Really struggled to make an impact. He was isolated up front and missed a big chance that he should have buried. It was no surprise to see him hooked at halftime. A frustrating 45 minutes for the big striker.

Daichi Kamada - 7.0: A lively and intelligent performance. He linked the midfield and attack effectively and created a big chance himself. His movement off the ball was excellent, always finding pockets of space. He was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet before being substituted.

Substitutes

Eddie Nketiah - 7.5: Made the perfect impact from the bench. He was a livewire from the moment he came on and grabbed the crucial second goal with a poacher's finish. His energy gave Palace a new dimension in attack.

Jefferson Lerma - 6.5: Came on for the booked Will Hughes to add some steel to the midfield. He did his job well, breaking up play and protecting the back four as Palace saw out the game.

Manager

O. Glasner - 8.0: He got his tactics spot on. The team was well-drilled, controlled, and deserved the win. His decision to bring on Eddie Nketiah at halftime was a masterstroke that killed the game off. He'll be annoyed with Sosa's red card but delighted with the three points.

Ruslan Neshcheret - 7.5: Despite conceding two goals, he was one of Kyiv's best players. He made five saves, four of which were from inside the box, to stop this from being a much heavier defeat. He could do little about either of the goals. A valiant effort in a losing cause.

Defenders

Aliou Thiare - 5.5: A tough evening for the defender. He was booked early on and seemed to be walking a tightrope for the rest of the game. He struggled to contain the pace and movement of Palace's forwards and was dribbled past on one occasion.

Kristian Bilovar - 6.0: He made a few important interceptions and was decent in his duels. However, he was part of a defensive unit that looked shaky and was pulled apart too easily for both goals. An average performance in a difficult match.

Taras Mykhavko - 5.5: His night was cut short by injury in the first half. Before that, he struggled to cope with the early pressure from Crystal Palace. It was a difficult start to the game for him and his team.

Midfielders

Oleksandr Yatsyk - 6.0: A battling performance but lacked the quality to make a real difference. He put in a shift but his passing was not incisive enough to trouble the organized Palace defence. Substituted in the second half.
