Heidenheim hosted Chelsea in the game week 4 of the ongoing UEFA Conference League on 28 November 2024 at Voith-Arena, Heidenheim an der Brenz. Both teams started the game cautiously, while Chelsea controlled the pace of the game with more than 68% possession of the ball. After scoring the goal, Chelsea wasted a few more chances to increase their lead, but they did well managing their backing line to give their opponents as few opportunities as possible. Chelsea doubled their lead with a beautiful strike from Mudryk after a tremendous display of passing from Veiga, Dewsbury-Hall, and Sancho before releasing a ball into the box for Mudryk.
