Juventus 1-2 Inter Player Ratings: Goals From Dimarco and Andy Diouf Seal Dominant Win For The Nerazzurri Despite Conceicao's Late Effort

Optus Stadium in Australia was graced by two Italian powerhouses, Juventus and Inter, as they played a pre-season friendly. It was Inter who were on the front foot in the first half, as their cohesive pressing made it difficult for Juventus to get past their midfield.

Luciano Spalletti's side were happy to soak up pressure, just as they had shown against Chelsea. Kenan Yildiz and Edon Zhegrova were the brightest spots for the Old Lady, but they lacked the final ball that could potentially open up a goal-scoring chance.

The sustained pressure from Inter Milan bore fruit as Ange-Yoan Bonny showed some nice footwork to get past Pierre Kalulu and put in a vicious cross for Federico Dimarco to meet in the penalty box, whose low effort nestled past Michele Di Gregorio to end up in his far post in the 20th minute.

Juventus did have some chances in the last five minutes of the first half, but none of them were too dangerous for the Inter backline to deal with.

A lot of reshuffling happened in the second half on either side, but it was Inter once again who hit the jackpot as substitute Andy Diouf scored in the 62nd minute from a Pio Esposito assist to double the lead for the Nerazzurri.

Francisco Conceicao did score one for Juventus, but his effort was not enough as the Old Lady faced their very first defeat of the pre-season.

Inter kept their unbeaten run intact in this pre-season, with a resounding win against Juventus, who would look to rectify a lot of areas before the main season starts.
