Rémy Descamps - 6.5: He had one significant save to make from a long-range effort and he handled it well. Distribution was clean and efficient, with a 95% pass accuracy. Couldn't be blamed for the goal he conceded. It was a relatively quiet evening for him, which says a lot about his defense.

Defenders

Nicolás Tagliafico - 6.5: A standard, solid performance from the fullback. He got forward to support attacks but didn't produce a standout moment in the final third. We noticed he was dribbled past twice, which is a minor concern. Defensively, he was sound enough and recovered the ball seven times.

Moussa Niakhaté - 6.0: A really mixed display from the centre-back. He made three important interceptions that snuffed out danger. However, he also seemed to struggle in the air, winning only one of his four aerial duels. Losing possession 16 times is far too high for a defender.

Clinton Mata - 7.0: He was heavily involved throughout the game. We were impressed by his creativity, as he created three key passes for his teammates. His yellow card was a necessary evil, stopping a promising attack. He was a driving force down the right, even if his final ball was inconsistent.

Corentin Tolisso - 5.5: A really difficult day at the office for the captain. His error leading to the Go Ahead Eagles goal was a massive moment and it visibly frustrated him. He tried to atone for it and worked hard, but it's a mistake that heavily impacts his rating. From our perspective, he never quite recovered his composure.

Tyler Morton - 7.5: Classy. His assist for the opening goal was perfectly weighted. He was the metronome in midfield, dictating the tempo with an exceptional 94% pass accuracy. Created a big chance and always looked to play forward. A very composed and intelligent performance.

Beyond the goal, he was a constant threat, registering four shots. What stood out to us was his ability to combine threat with tidy play. A brilliant attacking performance.

Pavel Sulc - 7.5: He was in the right place at the right time to score the crucial winning goal. It was a true poacher's finish following the corner. While he was quiet for large parts of the match, his contribution was ultimately decisive. That's what you want from your attacker.
