Nigeria and Gabon faced off against each other in a crucial World Cup qualifier on November 13, 2025. The winner of the Nigeria vs Gabon football game would feature in the FIFA Play-Off tournament next March.

The two teams demonstrated a commendable attacking display in the first half, but neither was able to break the deadlock. Nigerian star Victor Osimhen had a couple of easy chances.
