Goalkeeper

Manuel Neuer - 9.0: Simply sensational. What stood out to us was his commanding presence throughout the game. He made an incredible eight saves, some of them genuinely world-class stops to deny PSG time and again. His save from Vitinha's long-range effort was breathtaking. He was the reason Bayern won this match, full stop. The yellow card for time-wasting is a tiny footnote on a Man of the Match performance.

Defenders

Dayot Upamecano - 7.0: A solid, no-nonsense display from the Frenchman. We noticed he was calm under pressure, making six important clearances. He didn't do anything flashy, but he didn't need to. He won most of his duels and kept the PSG attackers relatively quiet in his area. A dependable performance when his team needed it most.

Jonathan Tah - 7.5: A rock at the back. From our perspective, he read the game beautifully. He made a staggering eight clearances and was composed on the ball with 95% pass accuracy. He seemed to be in the right place at the right time, making a crucial block and several interceptions. A very impressive showing.

Konrad Laimer - 7.0: The Austrian was a bundle of energy as always. He covered so much ground, making five tackles and recovering the ball six times. He was a nuisance for the PSG midfield, constantly pressing and disrupting their flow. He was dribbled past a couple of times, but his work rate more than made up for it.

Josip Stanisic - 6.5: A decent, if unspectacular, performance. He did his defensive duties diligently, making some key tackles and clearances. However, he also picked up a yellow card and was caught offside once. He offered little going forward, but his main job was to defend, and he did it adequately.

Midfielders

Joshua Kimmich - 6.5: This was a strange game from Kimmich. By his high standards, it was a quiet night. He missed a big chance and his passing was uncharacteristically sloppy, losing possession 12 times. That said, he still worked hard defensively, winning five of his six duels and making four tackles. Not his best day, but not a disaster either.

Serge Gnabry - 7.5: He was electric for the 45 minutes he was on the pitch. What stood out to us was his creativity, as he created two big chances and was unlucky to hit the woodwork. He was a constant threat before being surprisingly substituted at halftime. We can only assume it was a tactical change after the red card.

Michael Olise - 8.0: A fantastic performance. He provided the assist for the second goal and was a constant thorn in PSG's side. He drew fouls, made interceptions, and worked tirelessly for the team. He did miss a big chance, but his overall contribution, both in attack and defense, was immense.

Aleksandar Pavlovic - 6.0: A bit of a passenger in this game. His 100% pass accuracy is impressive on paper, but he only made 20 passes all game. From our perspective, he failed to impose himself on the match and was often bypassed in midfield. A learning experience for the young midfielder.

Forwards

Harry Kane - 6.5: It was a frustrating night for the England captain. He was isolated for large periods, especially after the red card. We noticed his excellent hold-up play, winning eight duels, but he only managed one shot on target. He worked hard for the team but was starved of service.

Luis Díaz - 8.5: What a bizarre performance. For 45 minutes, he was unplayable, scoring two clinical goals to put Bayern in control. He was the best player on the park. Then, a moment of madness saw him get a straight red card just before halftime. He almost cost his team the game, but his two goals were ultimately the difference. A truly unique hero-and-villain display.

Substitutes

Tom Bischof - 5.5: Came on at halftime to shore things up. His main contribution was getting a yellow card almost immediately. He did little else to impact the game. A tough situation to come into, to be fair.

Manager

V. Kompany - 8.0: He deserves immense credit. His team started on fire, and his tactical setup to cope with ten men in the second half was perfect. They were organized, disciplined, and showed incredible character. This was a massive tactical victory for Kompany against a top side.

Goalkeeper

Lucas Chevalier - 6.5: It's hard to fault him for either of the goals. He was left completely exposed by his defense. He made three saves, including a good one to deny Harry Kane in the first half. A respectable performance in a losing effort.

Defenders

Achraf Hakimi - 6.0: A surprisingly quiet half from the Moroccan. He made an error that led to a shot and was substituted at halftime, seemingly due to injury. We expected so much more from him, but he never really got going. A disappointing outing.

Marquinhos - 5.0: A very poor performance from the captain. His error leading to a goal was a shocking moment that put his team on the back foot. He looked shaky and uncertain throughout. From our perspective, this was a night where his team needed leadership, and he failed to provide it.

Nuno Mendes - 5.5: He was incredibly busy, but also incredibly wasteful. Losing possession 25 times is simply not good enough at this level. While he made some good recoveries, his final ball was consistently poor, and he picked up a needless yellow card. A frustrating performance to watch.

Willian Pacho - 4.5: A night to forget. He was run ragged by Bayern's attackers in the first half. The stats tell the story: dribbled past three times and winning just one of his seven duels. He looked completely out of his depth. The worst performer on the pitch for us.

Midfielders

Fabián Ruiz - 6.5: One of the few PSG players who tried to make things happen. He created a couple of chances and his passing was generally neat. However, he also spurned a few opportunities himself before being subbed off. A mixed bag of a performance.

Vitinha - 8.0: PSG's best player by a country mile. The man was everywhere, racking up an astonishing 137 touches. He dictated play, created chances, and forced a world-class save from Manuel Neuer. It's a shame his teammates couldn't match his level of quality and intensity.

Warren Zaïre-Emery - 7.0: A tidy performance from the youngster. His passing was almost perfect, and he created two chances. However, he also missed a big chance and struggled to truly influence the game against Bayern's disciplined block in the second half. A solid, if unspectacular, outing.

Forwards

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia - 6.0: A frustrating night for the Georgian. He was lively and got into good positions, but his final product was lacking. He had four shots but couldn't find the breakthrough. What stood out to us was his struggle in duels, losing more often than not against the physical Bayern defence.

Ousmane Dembélé - N/A: His game was cut short by injury after just 25 minutes. He barely had a touch of the ball and couldn't make any impact before being forced off.

Bradley Barcola - 5.5: He showed flashes of danger and created three chances. However, he also missed a huge chance and his decision-making in the final third was poor. He often held onto the ball for too long. A frustrating display that ended with his substitution.

Substitutes

Lee Kang-In - 6.5: Looked bright after coming on for the injured Dembélé. Forced a great save from Manuel Neuer and tried to inject some creativity. One of PSG's better attackers on the night.

Senny Mayulu - 6.0: Came on at halftime but failed to make a significant impact. The game seemed to pass him by.

Gonçalo Ramos - N/A: Brought on with 25 minutes to go but was completely anonymous. Hardly had a touch.

João Neves - 6.0: Added some fresh legs in midfield but couldn't change the course of the game against a well-drilled Bayern defence.

Manager

L. Martínez García - 5.0: A bad night at the office for the PSG boss. His team looked tactically naive in the first half. More damningly, they had a full 45 minutes with a man advantage and created very little. They looked devoid of ideas and his substitutions failed to make an impact. Big questions will be asked.
