Samsunspor 0-3 Trabzonspor Player Ratings: Mohamed Salah & Co. Earn Impressive Away Win After Melih Kabasakal's Bizzare Red-Card Moment

Trabzonspor resumed Super Lig action by returning to winning ways against Samsunspor, although the game had its fair share of madness from both ends. Despite being the away side, Trabzonspor showed no signs of nerves as they took the game head-on from the first whistle itself.

Trabzonspor took the lead in the 27th minute when Mustafa Eskihellaç played a nice one-two down the left flank before finding acres of space to run forward. He threaded a ball in for Ernest Muçi, who finished it quite efficiently.

The lead was doubled by Chibuike Nwaiwu in the 38th minute, when a cleverly worked corner was put in for Muçi by Mohamed Salah, and the no. 7's shot wasn't parried away from danger properly by the Samsunspor goalkeeper, Okan Kocuk.

Nwaiwu was alert and reached first to put it back into an empty net. Just two minutes later, one of the best wingers in the world currently, Salah assisted Franculino for the third, putting the game beyond Samsunspor's reach in the first half itself.

However, a moment of pure insanity saw Melih Kabasakal headbutt Elliot Watt, who initially fouled the Turkish midfielder in the buildup. Kabasakal went up to him and headbutted him in a fit of rage, thereby earning a red card.

Despite being down to 10 men, Trabzonspor held on to their lead and took home all three points, while Samsunspor will surely lament their horrendous defending that was on display today.
