Trabzonspor 0-1 Freiburg Player Ratings: Mohamed Salah Fails To Inspire His Side As SC Freiburg Clinch Important Three Points

Matchday 3 in the UEFA Conference League brought us to a showdown between Mohamed Salah's Trabzonspor and German outfit Freiburg at the Papara Park. The hosts were pushed onto the back foot in the early stages as Andre Onana saved the initial header, but Lukas Kübler was the quickest to react and put the ball in the back of the net.

Even though Trabzonspor kept more possession, they found it hard to create any big chances in the first half and were no match for SC Freiburg. Even with an xG of 1.09 in the latter half of the game and being the superior team throughout, the hosts failed to take something meaningful out of the game, resulting in a disappointing loss on home turf.
