Trabzonspor 2-0 Hearts Player Ratings: Mohamed Salah Stars In An European Night Once Again As Trabzonspor Maintain Unbeaten Run In The Conference League

UEFA Conference League is also underway, and we witnessed a magical night in Turkey as Trabzonspor faced Dutch side Hearts on matchday 3. Although the first half was a bit tight, one could make out that the hosts were still the more dominant side in the opening half.

They had more shots on target, a better xG, and even more possession, which led to the decisive moment in the 32nd minute, when Trabzonspor were awarded a penalty kick. Franculino was fouled in the box by Tómas Magnússon, leaving the referee no choice but to point to the spot.

One of the best wingers in the world currently, Mohamed Salah dispatched his penalty handsomely to put the hosts in the lead, setting up an interesting 45 minutes left to play in the second half.

The hosts picked up from where they left off in the first half, as Franculino played a smart one-two with Salah to curl one past Beau Reus to double the lead. The home side held on to their lead to remain undefeated in the Conference League and moved up to second place with this win.
