Twente will be kicking themselves after this one. They absolutely dominated this Eredivisie fixture but just could not find a way past a ridiculously defiant Telstar, ending in a frustrating 0-0 stalemate. From our perspective, this was a daylight robbery, a point snatched by the visitors through pure grit and some goalkeeping heroics.

FC Twente had practically all of the ball. They peppered the Telstar goal with shots from every conceivable angle. But that final, clinical touch was desperately absent. It just felt like one of those cursed evenings where, no matter what they tried, the ball simply refused to cross the line. Every attack seemed to end with a last-ditch block or a save.

What really stood out to us, and everyone else watching, was the monumental performance of Telstar's goalkeeper, Ronald Koeman Jr. He was simply outstanding. He transformed into an impassable wall between the sticks, pulling off save after save to keep his team in the match. Without his incredible efforts, this could have been a very different, and much uglier, story for the away side. Telstar's entire backline deserves immense credit for their dogged determination.

Goalkeeper

Lars Unnerstall - 6.5: Honestly, he could have brought a book to read for most of the match. Telstar barely troubled him. He had very few saves to make but was tidy when called upon. His distribution was decent enough, but this game wasn't a test for him. It's hard to rate a keeper who had so little to do. Just a spectator for long periods.

Defenders

Robin Pröpper - 7.5: A captain's performance from the back. He was a rock, winning eight of his ten duels and making several key clearances. His passing accuracy was impressive, constantly trying to build attacks from deep. The yellow card was a slight blemish on an otherwise commanding display. We noticed he was always organizing the defense, even when they were under no pressure.

Bart van Rooij - 7.0: A very busy performance down the right flank. He was constantly bombing forward, delivering crosses and even had four shots himself. Defensively solid, but he'll be disappointed he couldn't convert one of his chances or provide a killer assist. He lost the ball a few times, but his intent was always positive.

Mats Rots - 7.0: A solid and reliable outing for Rots. He was neat on the ball and created a couple of chances with his forward passes. He didn't have much defending to do but was alert when needed. We felt he provided good balance on the left side, linking up well with the attack. A steady, unspectacular game.

R. Nijstad - 7.0: Looked very comfortable on the ball for a defender. His pass completion was high, and he was composed in possession. He made a few important clearances and looked to build from the back. A promising performance before being substituted. He fit into the team's dominant style of play seamlessly.

Midfielders

Ramiz Zerrouki - 8.0: He was the heartbeat of the team in midfield. Everything flowed through him. His range of passing was excellent, and he created three clear chances for his teammates. We were impressed by his control of the game's tempo. He dictated play from start to finish. If his forwards had been more clinical, he'd have walked away with a couple of assists.

Kristian Hlynsson - 7.0: A frustrating night for the midfielder. He got into great positions and had four shots, but his finishing let him down. He was always involved, creating chances and making runs into the box. However, he just couldn't provide that decisive moment. A performance full of energy and intent but lacking the end product.

Thomas van den Belt - 6.5: A quiet first half before being substituted. He kept the ball moving with an impressive 94% pass accuracy but failed to make a significant impact in the final third. He had one shot off target but was otherwise a bit too safe in possession. A decent but forgettable 45 minutes.

Forwards

Marko Pjaca - 7.0: Looked like Twente's most dangerous player for a while. He created four chances and got two shots on target, forcing good saves from the keeper. However, from our perspective, he faded a bit as the game wore on. The yellow card for a frustrated tackle summed up his evening. So close to making the difference.

Guus Offerhaus - 8.0: A titan at the back. He put his body on the line time and time again. With seven clearances and three blocked shots, he was everywhere. He read the game superbly and was a major reason for the clean sheet. A proper old-school defensive masterclass.

Danny Bakker - 7.5: The captain led by example. He was dominant in the air, winning four aerial duels, and made several crucial clearances. He organized his backline with authority and kept his composure under immense pressure. A really solid and commanding performance.

Devon Koswal - 7.0: A strong defensive display. He made five clearances and a couple of important tackles. He got a yellow card but that was a small price to pay for his overall contribution. He stuck to his task diligently and gave the Twente attackers no space to operate.
