The star of the show was undoubtedly Christian Pulisic. He was electric from the first whistle. He opened the scoring just before halftime, a cool finish that broke Udinese's initial resistance. We felt that goal was coming for a while.

He made four saves, including a couple that were straightforward but needed concentration. Commanded his area well and his distribution was clean. A comfortable clean sheet, which is all you can ask for.

Defenders

Fikayo Tomori - 7.5: A rock at the back. We noticed he was always in the right position to intercept or make a crucial block. He was composed on the ball, starting attacks from deep. He won most of his duels and gave the Udinese forwards absolutely nothing to work with. A very strong showing.

Strahinja Pavlović - 6.5: Did his job effectively without being spectacular. He was solid and didn't make any noticeable errors before being substituted. He contributed to the clean sheet and looked comfortable alongside his defensive partners. A decent, if unspectacular, outing.

Matteo Gabbia - 7.5: The captain led by example. His positioning was immaculate, leading to five clearances. He was calm under pressure and his passing out from the back was impressive. From our perspective, he exuded confidence and organized the backline brilliantly. A real captain's performance.

Adrien Rabiot - 7.5: He was the engine in midfield. He provided a sublime assist for Pulisic's second goal and was everywhere on the pitch. His work rate was immense, and he controlled the tempo of the game with his intelligent passing. A classy and effective display.

Luka Modrić - 8.0: What can you even say? He just oozes class. At his age, to still dictate a Serie A game like this is incredible. His pass completion was near perfect, and he orchestrated everything from the middle of the park. It was a joy to watch him play.

Alexis Saelemaekers - 8.0: A fantastic performance full of energy and skill. He was a constant menace on the right wing, successfully completing all four of his dribbles. Defensively, he was also superb, winning eight duels and recovering the ball nine times. An all-action display.

Youssouf Fofana - 8.0: Scored the crucial second goal with a confident finish right after halftime. That goal completely changed the complexion of the game. Beyond the goal, he was tidy in possession and contributed well to Milan's midfield dominance before being subbed off.

Forwards

Santiago Gimenez - 6.0: He worked tirelessly but it just wasn't his day in front of goal. He missed a big chance in the first half that he'd normally bury. His movement was good, but he couldn't find that clinical touch before his substitution.

Christian Pulisic - 9.5: The highest-rated player and an absolutely flawless performance. Two goals and an assist. He was simply unplayable. Every time he got the ball, you felt something was going to happen. His first goal broke the game open, and his second was a mark of pure class. Man of the Match, without a shadow of a doubt.
