As mesmerising as it could be, playing extraction shooters like ARC Raiders solo offers a completely different experience altogether. When you go on a solo journey amidst the muddy lands of Dam Battlegrounds or face a sandstorm in the Buried City, you need to make your own choices, as there's no one revive you or provide you backup.

Therefore, if you prefer going all in as a lone wolf, without any squad, you've come to the right place. In this ARC Raiders Best Solo Builds guide, we won't be focusing on damage builds, but we'll make sure to provide you with the best resources that promotes survibility, too.

Best Solo Builds in ARC Raiders Explained: Different Playstyles/Situational Challenges

We're currently in Season 2 of ARC Raiders, and the developers at Embark Studios made some hefty nerfs to the in-game resources, such as the Kettle weapon, Trigger Nade, and others. You can check the details on our coverage regarding the Update 1.11.0 patch notes.

Keeping that in mind, let's delve into all sorts of ARC Raiders Best Solo Builds to tackle different situations:

1) Budget-Friendly Solo Build

  • Augment: Looting MK. 1
  • Shield: Light Shield (Green)
  • Weapons: Ferro and Kettle (Level 3 or Above)
  • Quick Use Slot: 5x Adrenaline Shot, 5x Bandages, and 5x Shield Rechargers
  • Safe Pocket: Key Card or Zipline

This is the best budget-friendly loadout and one of the best ARC Raiders Best Solo Builds for beginners. Both the augment and Light Shield can be provided completely free. Coming to weapons, we recommend you upgrade your Ferro and Kettle as much as possible and use proper attachments for the best results.

Ferro will help you deal with the incoming elemental threats. Kettle, on the other hand, will help you prevent a few unnecessary PvP situations, especially in the close and mid-range.

  • Quick Use slot is something where you can't compromise as a beginner.
  • Take at least 5 Adrenaline Shots, Bandages, and Shield Rechargers to keep yourself safe, regardless of how bad the situation goes.
  • Lastly, make sure to take either a keycard or a Zipline for mobility purposes.

2) Well-Round / Mid-Range Solo build

  • Augment: Looting MK. 2
  • Shield: Light Shield (Green)
  • Weapons: Anvil and Kettle (Level 3 or Above)
  • Quick Use Slot: 5x Herbal Bandages, x Shield Rechargers, 10x Adrenaline Shots
  • Safe Pocket: Defibrillator, Stella Montis Security Checkpoint Key

This is probably one of the well-rounded ARC Raider Best Solo Builds you can equip before entering a friendly or aggression-based matchmaking lobby.

We'll start with Looting MK. 2 to expand your backpack. You can always rely on Light Shield as an affordable source of a shield. Anvil is undoubtedly the best weapon in ARC Raiders right now. We recommend that you use the proper attachment, especially the compensator, to reduce recoil. It's the best weapon to deal with solo PvP situations. Kettle, on the other hand, is a reliable choice, especially when a silencer is attached to it.

  • You can't compromise on the Quick Use Slot.
  • Always ensure to bring healing items with it.
  • The only difference here is that you must take 10 Adrenaline Shots to improve your survivability.
  • Lastly, acquire a pivotal checkpoint key based on maps, and a Defibrillator to revive other raiders, which is a sign for a friendly approach.

  • Augment: Looting MK. 3
  • Shield: Medium Shield (Blue)
  • Weapons: Anvil and Renegade (Level 3 or Above)
  • Quick Use Slot: 5x Herbal Bandages, x Shield Rechargers, 10x Adrenaline Shots, and a Defibrillator.
  • Safe Pocket: Wolfpack, any Pivotal Key Card, and another item as per your choice.

If you want to go all in and act like a proper lone wolf, this high-end/ready for everything is among the ARC Raiders best builds. Use a medium shield to provide full protection from any dangerous ARC or aggressive PvP players. Using a Looting MK. 3 augment will provide you with an additional perk if you get downed at the last moment. For context, your HP will regenerate up to 75% of max downed health.

  • For weapons, we recommend you bring Anvil and Renegade for the best possible outcomes, regardless of the PvP or PvE situations.
  • Equip essential attachments, such as silencers, extended mags, and compensators, to control recoil and be the silent killer in the lobby.
  • As usual, the quick slot will be used for health items.
  • On the bright side, you can add the defibrillator to this slot.
  • Lastly, bring Wolfpack, an epic-rarity grenade, in ARC Raiders, a pivotal key card.

For the last slot, we'll let you decide. Remember to bring something precious according to your playstyle.

Do note that we haven't mentioned any sort of grenades in the loadouts. You can always keep grenades handy to tackle different situations. It'll, however, take your significant amount of space in the backpack.
