The Assassin's Creed Brand Update was released on March 4, 2026. Here are the five major additions revealed in the Assassin’s Creed Brand Update March 2026:

1. Assassin’s Creed Shadows Anniversary Event

Assassin's Creed: Shadows introduced changes to the parkour system that players needed because they experienced difficulty climbing between castle rooftops and temple routes. Ubisoft improved animation transitions and movement speed, bringing rooftop chases closer to Assassin's Creed Unity.

A celebration livestream was announced for March 20 at 10 AM PT / 6 PM CET through Ubisoft's Twitch channel. The livestream will showcase the new update, present the Parkour Challenge winners and distribute giveaways and Twitch drops.

2. Final Phase of Post-Launch Support

Ubisoft announced that Assassin's Creed Shadows is entering its final phase of post-launch support. The development teams will reduce their patch release schedule because they are currently working on upcoming franchise projects.

3. Codename HEXE Promises a Darker Direction

One of the most exciting highlights of the Assassin's Creed Brand Update March 2026 was Codename HEXE, a project under development in Ubisoft Montreal. It is expected to be a dark story set in a chaotic period in history. It is directed by Jean Guesdon, who previously worked on Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin's Creed Origins.

4. Codename INVICTUS Introduces PvP Multiplayer

5. Netflix Series and Classic Game Improvements

Ubisoft confirmed the release of a free 60 FPS patch that will enhance Assassin's Creed Unity gameplay on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PlayStation 5 through improved movement across Notre-Dame and other Paris locations. The Assassin's Creed series will be available to play from April 2 until April 6 during the Xbox Free Play Days event.
