Battlefield Season 1 Release Date and Start Time for All Regions

Battlefield 6 Season 1 is officially here, starting up the live-service for Battlefield 6. Following a very successful launch a few weeks back, Battlefield players are ready to welcome tons of new content, including new maps, modes, weapons, and finally the REDSEC battle royale.

EA and DICE have officially confirmed the worldwide release schedule, and players everywhere can prepare to jump back into the game together.

Battlefield 6 Season 1 Release Date and Time

The first season of Battlefield 6 officially begins on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. The new update and any seasonal content will go live across all platforms on the same day and time. Available platforms are PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC (Steam and EA App).

Players will have the opportunity to pre-download the 1.1.1.0 update starting at 2 AM PT (9 AM UTC). This will ensure they are ready when servers go live. The seasonal content will go live at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 3 PM GMT and will give players new gameplay experiences, balance adjustments and performance improvements across the board. 3. Winter Offensive (December 9, 2025)

• Map: Ice Lock Empire State (Limited-Time Map)

• Event: Ice Lock Event

Each phase is free for all Battlefield 6 players, with optional rewards available through the Season 1 Battle Pass, which features four main progression paths based on class roles: Assault, Recon, Engineer, and Support. When Will the Battlefield 6 Battle Royale REDSEC Release?

Alongside the Battlefield Season 1, the all-new free-to-play battle royale mode, REDSEC, goes live on October 28 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 3 PM GMT.

In REDSEC, players can engage in massive squad battles, bringing tighter shooting, new armor mechanics, and objectives that are inspired by Battlefield’s distinct sandbox warfare.
