BGMI 4.1 Update Brings Frosty Funland, Penguinville, and Glacier Skins – Full Details Inside

The next major BGMI patch is coming soon, and already, fans are getting a sense of the chill. The BGMI 4.1 update is expected to roll out in November 2025, and it will introduce a winter-themed update called Frosty Funland.

The full experience will include everything from cities built by penguins to different weapons and gameplay changes and everything in between. The update appears to refresh all aspects for Battlegrounds Mobile India.

BGMI 4.1 Update Release Date

Typically, Krafton releases BGMI updates roughly a week after the global version of PUBG Mobile launches. With PUBG 4.1 anticipated to release in early November, BGMI 4.1 should be available in India between November 10th and November 15th in 2025.

The rollout will happen in phases for Android and iOS users, starting with beta testers. Players can also opt for the "auto-update" function in the Play Store or App Store to access BGMI early when it launches.

Frosty Funland: The Main Theme of BGMI 4.1

The most exciting aspect of this update is Frosty Funland mode, a fresh winter-themed adventure based on penguins and everything to do with their frosty land.

Players will explore Penguinville and Penguin Towns, two themed areas filled with snow-covered buildings, frozen lakes, and more.

• Penguinville: After migrating to Erangel, penguins created a thriving snow metropolis which features interesting mini-events, secret treasure spots, and new hot-drop locations.
• Penguin Towns: There are smaller, populated communities scattered throughout the map. Action sites, rest spaces, greater treasure levels, and secret tasks are all available to players in small towns.

As players discover the backstory of the penguins' home and its relation to the melting glaciers, they will uncover a layer of storytelling in BGMI that we don't often see in the game.

New Weapons and Abilities

BGMI 4.1 brings two special theme weapons built to match the chilly mood to shake the mechanics of combat.

• Salted Fish Rocket Launcher: The salted fish rocket launcher attaches ice patches on the ground for enemies to slip on.
