Battlegrounds Mobile India, or BGMI, is preparing a major gameplay shift with its upcoming 4.4 patch update. New Themed Mode: Heroes Crown

Erangel receives a complete rework with the implementation of “Heroes Crown,” introducing new mythological elements. Yasnaya, Polyana, and Mylta will have open battle spaces, which players can use as their main combat zones. The Ancient Secret map change to combat structure will create new mid-range battle opportunities, replacing existing close-range building fight methods.

Crown’s Abode: The Floating Island

The Crown's Abode will operate as an advanced loot area for players. Teams that choose this location will obtain crate-grade equipment while securing respawn points and starting boss battles. Sun Chariots will serve as quick-deployment systems enabling teams to rapidly return to secure areas.

Trials and Honor System

A new objective-based system may reward coordinated squads:

• Spartan's Trial demonstrates how defenders maintain their performance level while facing mounting pressure during their control of designated areas.
• Icarus' Trial provides players with challenges that require moving vertically between different areas of the game.
• Achilles' Trial requires players to fight for specific objects, leading them to move throughout the map.

Weapons and Gameplay Changes

The Panzerfaust returning as ground loot could impact vehicle-heavy rotations in late circles. The JS9 SMG will become the most powerful weapon for fighting at close distances. Teams can use Spartan Flag and similar items to maintain their positions during the last battle zones.
