BGMI 4.4 Update Release Schedule For Android, iOS and APK

Krafton will be rolling out the BGMI 4.4 update this week. The update will be coming for all platforms on the same day. As per the latest reports, the BGMI 4.4 update release schedule is expected to go live on May 21, 2026. However, you can expect it to get postponed by a couple of days for technical reasons.

BGMI 4.4 Update Rollout Timings for Android, iOS, and APK

Krafton is yet to officially announce the BGMI 4.4 update release schedule. Based on the previous trends, we have compiled the predictions for rollout timings of the new BGMI 4.4 update on various platforms.

Android

The BGMI 4.4 update APK is expected to arrive first for Android users. The rollout will be in different phases. Starting, the first 30% Android users will receive the update by 06:30 AM IST. All the users are expected to get the update by 11:30 AM.

iOS

All iOS users are expected to get the new APK update by 11:30 AM IST. Though the rollout is expected to start a few hours after Android.

Both Android and iOS users will get the update on the official website of Krafton India. The rollout will be done by 12:30 PM IST. Ensure to keep ‘download from unknown sources' active on your device to utilise this method.

List of Upcoming Changes Coming With BGMI 4.4 Update

The BGMI 4.4 update will bring plenty of new features to the game. To start with, a new themed mode called 'Hero's Crown' is going to arrive with new features like floating POIs, new weapons, and vehicles. The new update will also bring a new Royal Pass for the players with new rewards that include upgradable weapons and outfits.

You will get to use new items like 'Heart of Fury' and 'Spartan Flag', which may debut a new meta in the game. Many in-game locations on the maps of Erangel and Livik will see a complete overhaul. Some of these locations include Yasnaya Polyana, Ruins, and Ferry Pier.

New trial paths will help unlock high loot zones and boss fights with the Centaur. New weapons like 'Panzerfaust' and SMG 'JS9' will also arrive in the game.
