BGMI 4.6 Update Arrives Next Week: Download Schedule and Timings

The next BGMI update is around the corner, and the community is already awaiting the release of new content after two months of non-stop Naruto and Spider-Man action. The BGMI 4.6 update will cover the upcoming Halloween season, so naturally the next theme is a bit darker and spookier than usual. BGMI 4.6 Update Release Date and Expected Rollout

The expected BGMI 4.6 release date is September 16, 2026. This release date follows the usual 2-month cycle, and Krafton will announce it soon. The BGMI 4.6 update will arrive with new content, modes, the Royale Pass and activity perks. A returning mode will also arrive along with a new theme to stir the nostalgia of players.

The maps will be revamped with a darker Vampire mode taking over Erangel and Livik. The A21 Royale Pass will also come alongside the BGMI 4.6 update on the same day. BGMI 4.6 Update Overview

The BGMI 4.6 update has a lot to offer to the players. There are two modes that will arrive: one new and the other returning. Many new cosmetics and skins will also arrive, ranging from free to premium. The season rewards will be reset, and players will have to once again grind to get into higher tiers via promotion matches.

Midnight Hunters Mode

The BGMI new update brings the Midnight Hunters mode, a vampire-inspired theme where players will have to side with either Vampires or Hunters. If you join the Hunters faction, you will be tasked with defending the castle and beating the Vampire elder. As hunters, your characters can use new weapons like the Silvermoon chain. Vampires can transform into bats and fly to different locations.

Along with the new theme, the BGMI 4.6 update release will also have a returning mode, 'Ocean Odyssey'. This will stir the nostalgia of the players who previously dropped at Ocean Castle and commuted on the Stingray.

New Collaborations

Two new collaborations are expected to arrive upon the release of the BGMI 4.6 update. This includes an anime crossover with One-Punch Man. This Collab is expected to bring the character sets of popular anime heroes like Saitama and Garou. The second collab is expected to be with Lincoln. Players, however, need to wait for official confirmation from Krafton about the same.

New Royale Pass

Many new free and premium cosmetics will make their way into BGMI with the release of the 4.6 update. Besides all the new events, the A21 Royale Pass will house many new skins for weapons and outfits. Both the Free RP and Elite Pass Plus RP have upgradable weapon skins and outfits in the store.
