With the winner of the finals yet to be decided, Krafton India dropped another bombshell- this time in the form of the BMSD format. Yes, you saw that right! We already have the format of the year-long-awaited competition of the game.

The competition promises thrilling and high-octane action. 48 teams battle it out to solidify their position as the best team of India in an electrifying tournament hosted in the vibrant city of Hyderabad. BMSD 2025 Format Explainer: Save The Dates

Before we take a look at the BMSD 2025 teams and the format, let us take a look at the important dates of the event.

In an overall view of the BMSD 2025 tournament date, the event will begin on 18th September 2025 and will end on 12th October 2025.

• Round 1 will take place from 18th September to 25th September.
• The Quarter-Finals will begin on 26th September and will end on 29th September.
• The Semi-Finals will begin on 4th October and will end on 7th October.
• The Survival Stage will begin on 8th October and will end on 9th October.
• The Ultimate Showdown will begin on 10th October and will end on 12th October.

Format Followed with BMSD 2025 Teams: The Ultimate Breakdown

Other than the YouTube stream, the full details on BMSD 2025 Live Streaming are not disclosed yet. That being said, here is the BMSD 2025 Format Explainer for the BMSD audience:

Round 1

Round 1 is divided into two different brackets. Each one of these brackets will offer a different path forward.

• In the Lower Bracket, there will be 24 teams divided into three groups. They will compete in a round-robin format, and the top 12 teams will secure a spot in the Quarter-Finals.
• In the Upper Bracket, there will also be 24 teams split into three groups. The top 12 teams from the bracket will qualify for the Semifinals. The rest will go to the quarter-finals.

BMSD 2025 Quarter-Finals

The 24 teams in the quarter-finals will play 16 matches in a round-robin format. Only 12 top teams will qualify for the semi-finals.

BMSD 2025 Semi-Finals

The 12 teams from the quarter-finals and 12 teams from Round 1 will compete in a round robin format for four days.

While the top 8 teams will directly reach the finals, the rest of the teams will fight in the Survival Stage for the last chance to qualify.

BMSD 2025 Finals

The best 16 teams now will compete for the title in an epic 18-game showdown. In addition to the trophy and the bragging rights, the winner will represent India in PMGC 2025.
