PMWC 2025 Day 1 Overall Standings & Recap

The PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) is down to its business end with sixteen of the best PUBG mobile squads across different regions and nations giving it their all to be crowned the new champions. The first day of the grand finals saw all the teams battle it out in six intense matches across three competitive maps of the game. By the end of the day's play, it was Myanmar's champions, Yangon Galacticos, who reigned supreme with the maximum points in their kitty. The much-feared Chinese teams didn't have a great start to the finals as they lingered in the middle and bottom part of the table.

The first day of the finals saw many intense battles and clutch moments. The day was filled with moments of individual brilliance and the team's strategic masterclass. PMWC 2025 Day 1 Recap

Match One: Sanhok

The Indonesian team had a dream start in the finals with their 23-point victory in the very first match. The team displayed great strategic and rotation capacity as they remained in control of the zones for most parts of the game. Team Alpha Gaming and IDA emerged as the runners-up and second runners-up of the match with 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Match Two: Erangle

The eventual table toppers of the first started their domination from the second match. Team Yangon Galacticos made their presence felt with a dominating 12-kill chicken dinner. They accumulated the most points in the match, followed by Chinese pros Weibo Gaming and Team Secret, who had 12 and 11 points to their names, respectively.

Match Three: Erangle

The Turkish side, Regnum Carya, got the winner winner chicken dinner in this match with 11 kills to their name. The team showcased a lot of composure in the final circle and got all their finishes towards the end. Team DRX and 4Thrives finished in second and third place, respectively, with 14 and 12 points to their name.

Match Four: Erangle

The European Team, Falcons, had a dominating outing in this match, accumulating a total of 22 points, including 12 kill points. Yangon Galacticos and Team Falcons finished joint second with nine points each. Regnum Carya finished third with seven points in their kitty.

Match Five: Miramar

The first match on the game's largest map saw DRX secure a timid winner winner chicken dinner with five kills and a total of 15 points. Yangon Galacticos, once again, showcased their consistency as they finished third with seven points. Team Fireflux finished second as they gathered eleven points.

Match Six: Miramar

Yangon Galacticos ended the day on a high as they secured 12 12-kill chicken dinners. Alpha Gaming finished second with 16 points. One of the Chinese teams, Weibo Gaming, finally found themselves in the top three as they finished third with ten points.
