PUBG Mobile World Cup concluded on August 3rd, 2025, and a new champion was crowned at Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. The biggest PUBG Mobile tournament had a climactic conclusion as the winners were confirmed only in the final match on the final day of the competition. All the 16 finalists gave their best, but only one team reigned supreme after an intense set of eighteen matches over three days. PUBG Mobile community got their new champions, Yangon Galacticos, who asserted their dominance over every other team from every other region and took the trophy to Myanmar.

The PMCL Southeast Asia Summer champions won their first S-tier competition by dominating the champion squads from the other regions. Yangon Galacticos accumulated a total of 158 points from 18 matches, with the highest number of ‘Winner Winner Chicken Dinner’ in the grand finals. They proved their mettle both in terms of strategy and gun game with the highest points in the respective categories. Yangon Galacticos remained in control of their position for the entirety of three days, having finished at the top of the pile after the first two days of the competition. Yangon Galacticos' sheer consistency with zone awareness, picking the right fights and strong gun game enabled them to become the ‘World Champions.’

PMWC Grand Finals Overall Standings

Yangon Galacticos finished at the top of the standings with 157 points, followed by Chinese pros Weibo Gaming, who accumulated 142 points. Alpha Gaming from Mongolia held on to the third spot with 141 points, and South Korean Champions DRX ended their solid PMWC run at the fourth spot with 117 points. PMWC Grand Finals Prizepool Distribution

The champions, Yangon Galacticos, took home a major chunk of the total prize pool of $3 million. The other finalists also received a portion of the prize pool based on their position in the overall standings. The prize pool of the competition was distributed among all 24 teams that participated in the competition. The BGMI Pro series Champions AryanxTMG received $38,500 after finishing 22nd overall.
