Team Orangutan, the champions of India, played their parts in the BMIC 2025. The team finished in tenth place after the end of the final day's action. The Indian champions got a good warm-up ahead of the much-awaited PMGC 2025. The team appeared to be trying out their gun game and working on some new tactics ahead of PMGC 2025. Although the BMSD champions didn't get the result everyone desired, this could be taken as a mock drill ahead of PMGC, since they are already one of the Gauntlet teams in the event.

Team Orangutan finished outside the first list of teams. They secured the tenth position at BMIC 2025 with 65 finish points and 38 position points. Most of the time, the team was actively taking fights during rotations, a sight which the fans generally don't expect from Team Orangutan. Following the conclusion of BMIC 2025, our team engaged in conversation with one of the most experienced BGMI athletes of the country, team Orangutan's assaulter Rounak. OG Ronak shared his insights, reactions and how the team is gearing up for PMGC 2025.

Ronak is no stranger to the big stage. The og member of perhaps India's most iconic BGMI squad, Team Soul, Rounak has multiple accolades to his name. He won his fourth A-tier ( as per Liquipedia) tournament with OG at BMSD 2025. He is also going to be part of the team travelling to Thailand for PMGC.

Question: How were your preparations going into the event, and are you satisfied with the team's performance?

I cannot say, we are satisfied. We were experimenting, our main goal is PMGC. I will say, results could have been different, but it's okay, we are prepared for the next event.

Team Orangutan finished in 10th place at BMIC 2025. Rounak was the official substitute for the team in this event.

Question: Looking forward to PMGC, is the management confirmed with the playing order for all the players in the team?

Yes, yes definitely, these 4 ( Aaru, AkOp, Attanki, WizzGOD) will be playing in PMGC 2025. They will play all the matches to the best of their potential.

Team Orangutan is known for consistency. The management always backs the players and the current roster has been together for a pretty long time. Ronak confirmed the official roster for Team OG at PMGC 2025.

Question: BMIC 2025 had international teams from Korea and Japan. How do you see the rise of Indian teams in comparison to them moving forward?

You need to wait till PMGC to see the results ( the growth of Indian teams). Of course, there will be other teams from across the world at PMGC. Both the Korean teams played very well ( at BMIC 2025). DPlus Kia is already a qualified team and DRX deserved to win since they played so well.

Both the Korean teams, DRX and DPlus Kia, played extremely well. While DRX finished as the eventual winner of BMIC 2025. Former PMGC Champions DPlus Kia finished in sixth position with 122 points.

Question: The BGMI community has been growing. What's your message to the coming generation of players? What are the do's and don'ts to reach this stage?

It's mainly about passion, if you follow it and give your best, the results will follow.

Team Orangutan will be in action at PMGC from November 24th 2025. Orangutans are one of the two Indian teams that will participate in PMGC. They have a billion hopes attached to them to make India stand out on the global stage. Indian fans and experts are confident of the team's abilities, and we are hopeful of their strong performance at GC.
