BGMI Version 4.0 Leaks: Schedule, Features and more

The most popular battle royale game in India, aka BGMI, shall get its next version update in the upcoming month. BGMI developers Krafton are known to announce major upgrades in their games every five months. The current version 3.9 of BGMI was released last month in July 2025, and it introduced a new Transformers-themed mode into the game. The next version update of the game is also around the corner, and it is speculated to include lots of new features.
As per the leaks, the next version 4.0 of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is going to add many new features to the game. The fans expect the improvements and optimisations in gameplay. The new version is rumoured to add a new Halloween-inspired themed mode that is expected to give a spooky experience to the players. It is rumoured that this mode shall also bring in magic broomsticks, which can be used like any other mode of commute in the game.

BGMI Version 4.0 Leaks Release Date

BGMI Version 4.0 is speculated to arrive in the month of September 2025. The latest leaks suggest that the version update shall arrive after the conclusion of one of the biggest unofficial tournaments, the Battlegrounds Masters Series, aka BGMS 2025. This tournament shall run until the middle of September, and hence, the new version of BGMI is expected to come after September 12th, 2025. No official announcement has yet been made about it, but the news may come in the upcoming weeks

BGMI Version 4.0 Leaked Features

A lot of leaks from trusted sources suggest that version 4.0 of BGMI shall include three major features in the ranked mode. It includes - Wraithmoor Mansion, Ghostie, Magic broom and Strength potions. The details of each are mentioned below.

• Wraithmoor Mansion

Wraithmoor Mansion will be a new addition to the maps. The exact location of it is not leaked, but the mansion will house many supernatural elements and will be divided into specific areas. The names of the areas within the Mansion have been leaked, and they are as follows: Botanical Garden, Labyrinth, Memorial Site and Magic Mirror. The magic mirror is speculated to be at the centre of the mansion and is expected to give loot, summon spirits and change the surrounding weather.

• Ghostie

Leaks suggest that Ghostie will be a spirit that follows the user in the map. It may remain invisible to the others unless its skills are put to use. As per leaks, Ghostie can be equipped with as many as 1 main and 2 passive skills at once.

• Magic Broom and Strength Potion

According to the leaks, the users shall be able to move by sitting on Brooms either solo or in a duo. The strength potion is speculated to be an overpowered item which, once consumed, shall boost the player's movements, jump and increase their endurance.

• An Undead Concert

The leaks suggest a ghost music band may perform at random locations on the map during the match. Players can visit the location and interact with them. The place may also give good loot.
