Everything About BlizzCon 2026: From Ticket Sales to What Might Be Revealed

After almost three years, Blizzard Entertainment's largest fan event is finally returning. BlizzCon 2026 dates are finally here. The highly anticipated gaming event is scheduled to take place on September 12-13, 2026, at the Anaheim Convention Center in California.

This event return has been long-awaited, especially among fans of World of Warcraft, Overwatch, and Diablo, though many fans had a similar question: What will Blizzard do this time around? Let's find out.

BlizzCon 2026 Tickets Details and Pricing

BlizzCon 2026 tickets sales open nearly a year ahead of time. This definitely shows how confident they are in the event's return. The passes will go on sale from November 7 to November 9, 2025, and the price has been set at 9.99 USD each.

After the early bird tickets, standard passes go on sale on November 18, 2025, at 9.99 USD each. From each account, you can put up to four tickets in your cart.

New add-ons are included in this year's offerings. The Charity Night pass ($499.99 USD) includes an exclusive event with Blizzard developers, reserved seats at the ceremony, and signed artwork—with proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

With the Tickets for the Darkmoon Faire After Hours ($89.99 USD), fans will get a chance to play longer with extended time. This will come alongside additional collectables.

What to Expect at BlizzCon 2026?

We all know that BlizzCon has always been Blizzard’s stage for big reveals, such as War of Warcraft Classic, Overwatch 2, and Diablo 4, which all made their debut here. But this year, things feel a bit uncertain, to be honest.

Expectations for news from Blizzard at the 2025 BlizzCon are no doubt very high. Fans should be prepared for many WoW-related content reveals, especially with the anticipated World of Warcraft: Midnight slated for February 2026.

This also means that it is highly unlikely for another major expansion to be revealed prior to that release. However, there is also a strong chance that Blizzard may give a sneak peek of its highly anticipated "Classic+" version of WoW Classic. Many have requested this since the Season of Discovery.

Diablo 4 is another big expectation to be covered. Not to mention, the next edition of Diablo has already been confirmed for 2026, but we’ll still have to wait and see if Blizzard reveals anything for Diablo 4 at BlizzCon. At least, we can expect a teaser?

We can almost surely expect that something extra of Overwatch 2 and Hearthstone might be revealed as well, probably with a new hero character for Overwatch and a new card set for Hearthstone, as usual.

However, considering 2026 is going to be a big year in the gaming industry, especially with the slated GTA 6 release and now BlizzCon, fans are hoping to see at least one surprise.

Blizzard needs to put something interesting on the calendar to remind their fans that BlizzCon is about excitement and discovery rather than simply listing the patch notes of what BlizzCon was in the past.
