Brawl Stars x My Hero Academia Collab Skins: List of Skins and How to Get Them

6 min
Brawl Stars MHA Collab

Summary

  • The upcoming Brawl Stars x MHA Collaboration is happening next month.
  • Check out each of the 5 new special Skins coming with the next Brawl Stars update.

In the latest Brawl Stars Brawl Talk that aired a few days ago, Supercell gave us a sneak peek into May's superhero and anime-themed Starr Patrol season. While this season will introduce a new brawler, Starr Nova, it will also bring a special Brawl Stars x MHA collaboration, with the popular anime manga, My Hero Academia. Let's take a look at all the new Brawl Stars MHA skins that we will get to unlock next season.

Brawl Stars My Hero Academia Collab Details

For the uninitiated, My Hero Academia (MHA) is a famous manga and now anime by author Kohei Horikoshi. This manga follows the journey of Deku, a teenager with no quirks (superpowers), rising to become the most famous hero ever in a world where everyone has one.

The Brawl Stars x My Hero Academia collab will be the first collab to feature an anime series. Previously, we had collabs with animated shows like SpongeBob SquarePants. And with the upcoming collab, both Brawl Stars and MHA fans are hyped with the skins releasing next month.

According to the recent Brawl Talk April 18 announcements, the Brawl Stars MHA skins will be released next month, along with other superhero-themed skins in next season's Brawl Pass. However, these are standalone skins and not related to My Hero Academia characters.

All Brawl Stars My Hero Academia Skins

While we are getting Damian in the next Brawl Stars update, we have to wait a bit before getting our hands on the Brawl Stars MHA Collab skins.

We will receive a total of five Brawl Stars x MHA skins that are based on some of the series' most famous characters. All five skins will be available in the shop for a limited time, where you can purchase them using gems.

1. Deku Fang

Deku is the primary protagonist of My Hero Academia. He is a quirkless (powerless) teenager, later given the power of All Might, called One for All, the world's strongest hero. Fang getting one of the main Brawl Stars MHA skins seems appropriate since his moves best resemble those of Deku.

While his kicks look more or less the same, his shoe now has an electrifying glow around it, similar to how Deku's body does when using the One for All power.

His super now looks completely different since Fang is now covered in black electricity and tentacles around him, similar to Deku's Black Whip ability. This is an epic skin that will cost 149 gems.

2. Uravity Janet

Uravity Janet is based on the character Ochako Urararaka from My Hero Academia. Her hero name is Uravity, based on her quirk Zero Gravity, which allows her to make solid objects free of gravity and make them float. And it makes sense to see Janet getting her skin since she is the only character who actually flies when using her super.

This epic skin will cost 149 gems. Uravity Janet's attack animations are different since she now shoots off rocks while attacking, similar to how Uravity does in the anime. 3. Bakugo Edgar

The next skin on this list of Brawl Stars MHA skins is Bakugo Edgar, a new mythic skin that will cost 199 gems. This skin is based on the character of Katsuki Bakugo and has a unique quirk, Explosion, which allows him to produce inflammable sweat from his hands that he can explode on command.

It's fitting that Edgar gets this since they both have punkish and emo-ish personalities. While Edgar might not have many explosive attacks, his punches now have a flashy glow around them, similar to how Bakugo coats his arms in his explosive sweat that sparkles.

Since Edgar's super is simply a jump, it would've been interesting to see him make an explosive landing. Using this skin will be fun since Edgar ranks high in our Brawl Stars Tier List.

4. Tomura Shigaraki Gus

Shigaraki Tomura is the main villain of My Hero Academia, present in the League of Villains team, which necessitates his character being one of the five Brawl Stars MHA skins. Gus might be the best character to get this mythic skin, worth 199 gems, as he also has similar silver-colored hair to Shigaraki.

Since the latter is always covered in many hands, Gus's balloon becomes one. Moreover, his attacks change, where he will now throw hands instead of balloons. However, the spirits that are dropped after hitting enemies and his super still look the same.

5. All Might El Primo

All Might is one of the main characters in My Hero Academia. He is the world's most powerful superhero, having immense strength. In Brawl Stars, our favorite Luchador El Primo, gets a new legendary skin costing 299 gems. This is fitting since he also relies on his super strength and close-quarters combat skills.

His punching animation has been changed, which now features a flurry of punches that resemble All Might's series of different Smash punches named after the USA's different states. Additionally, when All Might El Primo jumps and lands after using his super, he now has a sparkly trail and creates a starry area of effect where he lands.

That's all that has been revealed so far from the upcoming Brawl Stars MHA collab. All five Brawl Stars MHA skins will be available in the shop next month, where you can purchase them using gems based on their rarities.
