Supercell Unveils 18 New Competitive Maps Coming Soon to Brawl Stars

Summary
The Brawl Stars Competitive Mapmaking Contest ended recently on October 4, 2026, allowing creators to create new maps for the game. Finally, on October 13, 2026, the winners of this contest were announced, highlighting 18 new maps that will be added to the game soon. Let's take a look at all of these Brawl Stars New Competitive Maps and learn what might be the ideal team compositions for each.
List of All 18 New Brawl Stars Competitive Maps and Their Best Team Compositions
The Brawl Stars Competitive Mapmaking Contest was judged by popular creators and players like SpenLC, SymantecBS, wigglyspoo, and RealCanadian_BS. The aim of this community contest was to let players create maps that are well-balanced to be included in next year's Brawl Stars Championship 2027.
As such, the 18 winning maps will soon be added to the game in the next Brawl Stars update so that they can be tested before they are officially used in next year's Championship. Here is a list of all 18 Brawl Stars New Competitive Maps and the best team compositions for each of them. Let's check them out in detail below:

Bounty Maps
The three new Brawl Stars Competitive Maps for Bounty and their best team compositions are:

Endothermic Shift
Created by Goldalf, this map has plenty of vertical angles for marksmen to play more freely. It also has a lot of grass near the center, which makes it perfect for assassins to hide in. My recommended team composition for this map will be:
- Rosa: Can hide in the grass and surprise enemies with a flurry of attacks while protecting herself with her Super.
- Belle: Perfect for dealing damage from long ranges. Her Super allows you to lock down enemies for your other teammates to decimate them.
- Byron: Byron has good range and serves as the team's main healer and cover-fire provider.
Eye of the Beholder
Eye of the Beholder, created by Dustybud, also has many long ranges with walls on both sides. Has less grass than the previous one. The best Brawlers to use here are:
- Belle: Her long-range attacks and ability to target specific enemies to deal more damage will be essential in Bounty.
- Tick: Since there are sections of walls on both sides of the team that you can use to take cover, Tick's lobbed attacks will make these spots unsafe.
- Byron: Has enough range for this map and provides good healing over time.
Sudden Movement
Sudden Movement by Maheryy feels like a map made for cover fire shooters who attack and dart back into cover (hence the name). The best Brawlers for this map are:
- Piper: Piper's longer range and more serious damage make her better than Belle on this map
- Bo: He has good range and can place mines in grass that will surprise and stun enemies, making them vulnerable to your attacks.
- Bolt: Bolt is great for rolling through the open spaces of the map and catching unsuspecting enemies who try to hide in the bushes. Go through our Best Bolt Build Brawl Stars Guide to get the best out of him.
Brawl Ball Maps
The three Brawl Stars new Competitive Maps are:

Human Nature
Created by Hazel, this map favors Brawlers whose attacks have wide cones. The best Brawlers for this map will be:
- Draco: His Super can help you burn down enemies who huddle together in an instant.
- Frank: Deals consistent damage with attacks that have a wide spread. Can also break walls and stun enemies with Super.
- Poco: Poco with Da Capo! Star Power seems to be a must for this map as he can deal and deal damage.
Passing Through
Passing Through by Volt features more vertical and diagonal shooting angles. My recommended characters for this map are:
- Rosa: Can use the grass pretty well since there is a lot here.
- Bibi: The walls are set in a way that her Super can bounce them off four times in one use if angled right.
- Byron: Has good range to take down enemies from a distance and provide healing to teammates.
Front Tackle
This map by YourLocalKnight is perfect for mid- and long-range Brawlers. My preferred team composition will be:
- Frank: Has enough range to cover all short and mid angles, along with a Super that can break walls.
- Cosmo: His spinning attacks cover a lot of range, along with his Super letting you mark enemies. Check out our Best Cosmo Build Brawl Stars Guide to learn what to equip.
- Byron: Cosmo's Super can make all of Byron's ranged attacks home in on enemies. He is also good at healing allies.

Gem Grab Maps
Gem Grab will get three Brawl Stars new maps: Emotional Detachment (by Gawbew), Don'ty Leaf Me (by Maheryy), and Ravenous Rapids (by Jarang). They all seem to be similar to each other in terms of design and layout. As such, this one team will work well in all three maps:

- Rosa: Perfect one to hide in bushes and ambush enemies.
- Bo: Can look inside bushes with Circling Eagle Star Power and lay mines in bushes.
- Angelo: Angelo has enough angles to fire long-range shots targeting enemies near the gem well.
Heist Maps
Three Heist maps emerged as Brawl Stars new Competitive Maps. They are:

Prinstream
This map by Mindy favors ranged Brawlers and characters who can hover over water. As such, my recommended picks are:
- Shade: Can hide in bushes and surprise enemies hiding behind cover.
- Angelo: Can hover over water and shoot arrows from a long distance.
- Bo: Place mines near the safe and watch them go boom as enemies respawn.
Fires Across
This Heist map by YourLocalKnight favors ranged Brawlers. The best team composition looks like:
- Piper: Has long range and can drop bombs near the enemy safe using her Super.
- Bo: Proficient at placing mines near the enemy safe and choke points on the map.
- Crow: Can deal damage over time with poison darts and jump in on them for a quick assassination.
On the Lookout
This map by Jeram63 has lots of grass and long angles for assassins and marksmen to have fun. There are also three lanes if you look at the design of the map. My preferred Brawlers for this map are:
- Edgar: Has quick melee attacks and can jump in on enemies who have low health for a quick kill.
- Bo: Best for placing mines near the narrow spaces that act as three lanes and on the safe.
- Tick: Great at peppering the three lanes with bombs to annoy and damage enemies as they pass through.

Hot Zone Maps
The three Hot Zone winners in this list of all Brawl Stars new Competitive Maps are:

Framework
Framework by Kayge has only one Hot Zone. As such, my preferred Brawler picks are:
- Amber: Can burn enemies from a distance, along with leaving burning oil in the zone. Refer to our Best Amber Build Brawl Stars Guide to use the right build.
- Tick: Keep dropping bombs near the zone and make it deadly for enemies.
- Squeak: Attack enemies to stick bombs on them that can hit multiple enemies. Throw Super on Hot Zone to clear enemies.
Sectioned
This map by PistonMan features two Hot Zones. I recommend using these Brawlers:
- Bo: Can attack one zone while dropping hidden mines on the other to cover both of them simultaneously.
- Amber: Her Fire Starter Gadget with a Buffie lets you place two oil barrels on both zones.
- Damian: HIs jumping Super attack can lock down enemies in contested zones. Check out my Best Damian Build Brawl Stars Guide to learn more about using the tank Brawler
Sunken Harbor
Sunken Harbor by YourLocal Knight also has two hot zones that can both be targeted from the middle of the arena. The best Brawlers to use here are:
- Bo: Attack one zone and use Super on the other.
- Amber: Place both oil barrels at different zones.
- Piper: She can attack enemies coming to both zones from the center of the map. Use Super on enemies contesting zones.
Knockout Maps
We have three unique Knockout map winners in this list of new Brawl Stars maps coming soon. They are:

Sound Waves
This map by Leost4r heavily favors ranged Brawlers. My suggestions are:
- Angelo: Can easily hover over water bodies and attack enemies from a distance.
- Belle: Target enemies from either side of the map and deal more damage using Super.
- Wendy: Use attacks and Super to protect teammates, perfect for Knockout. Check out my Best Wendy Build Brawl Stars Guide to equip her well.
Dry Run
This map by Quazar favors ranged Brawlers. My Brawler picks are:
- Piper: Can target enemies from one side of the map (left or right).
- Shade: Use Super to move faster and attack enemies hiding behind walls for cover.
- Wendy: Keep applying shields to allies.
Pincer Movement
The final entry in this list of all Brawl Stars new Competitive Maps list is Pincer Movement by Ascend. The best Brawlers for this map are:
- Edgar: Can hide in bushes and ambush enemies to take them out for good.
- Nani: Can hide in bushes and use super to target enemies safely without retaliation.
- Wendy: Do what she does best - apply shields and protect teammates.
