Recent rumors suggest it will start pretty early on May 12, 2026. If you complete this challenge, you can get a free Starr Nova Brawl Stars profile icon.

The Brawl Stars Starr Nova Challenge is expected to last until Monday, May 18, 2026. During this event, you must win a series of nine matches across three different game modes and their respective maps.

If you win all nine matches, you will get a free Starr Nova Brawl Stars profile icon. You also win another profile icon that represents one half of the other one. Since the Starr Nova event is active now, you can collect crystals during these matches to transform into one of the Brawl Stars Starr Patrol skins.

Remember that you only have four lives to win all matches. If you lose four times, you will lose this challenge, after which you can use Gems to keep retrying.

Best Brawlers for Brawl Stars Starr Nova Challenge

The Brawl Stars Starr Nova Challenge will take place across three game modes, each with its own unique map. It seems that the maps are the same that previously appeared in the Brawl Stars Uravity Janet challenge. While you can brave this challenge solo with random teammates, we recommend up to two friends for an easier time.

Stage 1: Knockout

This map is built with long-range brawlers in mind. It has many open spaces and longer sight lines. As such, this Brawl Stars Starr Nova Challenge guide recommends using these characters:

• Bo

Bo has a good range on his attacks that can help you damage enemies hiding in the bushes. You can also stun them and flush them out using his sneaky mines.

• Crow

Crow is another good pick for this map since he can keep applying pressure by poisoning enemies, only making the full jump using his super when they are low on health.

• Emz

Emz is pretty strong on this map since her attacks have quite a bit of range, dealing more damage the further you are. Since this map has a pretty open central area, she is the perfect brawler to contest it with.

Since this is a Knockout map, staying alive with your teammates is key since you cannot respawn and have only two rounds.

Stage 2: Brawl Ball

In contrast to the previous stage's Knockout map, the Brawl Ball map in the Brawl Stars Starr Nova Challenge favors close-to-medium-range brawlers. The best ones to use here are:

• Cordelius

Cordelius thrives in Brawl Ball. He can completely remove one of them from the field using his super that teleports him and the enemy to a separate dimension. This opens up opportunities for your other team members to make a run with the ball.

• Kenji and Mortis

Kenji and Mortis are both sneaky close-range assassins that can dash in and out of cover to take down enemies quickly.

Stage 3: Gem Grab

The final map of this challenge is a Gem Grab map with three long vertical lanes that favors ranged sharpshooters. To make it easy for you, we recommend using these brawlers:

• Piper

Piper has one of the best long-range basic attacks in this game, which deals damage the further she is from her prey. Her super also serves as a get-out-of-jail-free card when enemies close on you.

• Leon

Leon is an excellent assassin who can sneak in on enemies from both the long patches of bushes on both sides of this map.

• Tick

Tick does an excellent job of contesting the enclosed middle area of the map, where gems pop up, since enemies getting caught in his mines will find it hard to escape without a severe wound.
