Mobile gaming fans, get ready for one of the most talked about crossovers this year. Brawl Stars has teamed up with Netflix’s Stranger Things for a limited-time event, and it’s not just a small update. The crossover brings themed maps, new modes, event currency, and exclusive skins, turning Starr Park into a darker place from the Upside Down. With the crossover running close to the Brawl Stars World Finals 2025, fans can expect the community to be buzzing, whether chasing Waffles in-game or watching top players compete on the biggest stage.

Brawl Stars x Stranger Things: Event Overview & Schedule

The event runs from November 6 to December 3, 2025, in most regions. The story follows the Upside Down breaking into Starr Park, changing the battlegrounds with strange energy and spooky visuals. Supercell said this is not just a promo event, but a full event with its own mechanics, rewards, and quests.
Players can try out new game types, earn a special event currency called Waffles, and spend them in the event shop. Waffles can be earned from daily wins, quests, and playing the new modes. You can use them to get Brawler Decks, Power Cards, and exclusive skins.

Brawl Stars x Stranger Things: New Game Modes & Mechanics

The biggest highlight is Upside Showdown, a roguelite version of the classic Showdown. Players go through up to five stages in one run, choosing between Power Cards that give buffs after each round. You need to place in the Top 4 to move ahead. If not, your run ends. The further you go, the better rewards you get, including rare Power Cards and more Waffles.
Another new mode is Hawkins Hunt, a co-op boss fight where players face Stranger Things villains like Vecna and the Demogorgon. These battles drop rare loot and exclusive cosmetics. It’s designed to make players work together and plan out each fight carefully.

Exclusive Skins & Themed Items

Supercell went all in with Stranger Things themes. The new skins include:

• Eleven Lumi – A Brawl Pass skin based on Eleven. Comes with two Chromas: Retro Lumi and Thrilled Lumi.
• Dustin Nita – Nita takes the look of Dustin, and her bear Bruce becomes a Demogorgon. Has Chromas 80s Dustin Nita and Future Dustin Nita.
• Hopper Bull – The Hawkins sheriff reimagined as a Bull skin.

Extra outfits include Eddie Draco, Will Gus, and Scoops Ahoy Berry (based on Steve Harrington’s outfit).
There are also Stranger Packs and Strangest Packs, which include Brawler Decks and random cosmetics. Collecting decks unlocks Power Cards of different rarities Epic, Mythic, and Legendary that give extra boosts in event modes.
