COD Mobile Season 6 Balance Changes Bring Major Adjustments in the Meta

Season 6 of Call of Duty: Mobile brings one of the biggest balance changes, impacting weapons, attachments, scorestreaks, operator abilities, and even Battle Royale class changes. The upcoming CoD Mobile Season 6 update seeks to diversify the metagame by boosting weak weapons but also making some of the best abilities and utilities less powerful.

COD Mobile Season 6 Balance Changes

In the newly launched CODM Season 6 Patch Notes, there is a significant emphasis on the mechanics of weapon control, movement, recoil management, and class balance in both Multiplayer and Battle Royale modes. Many popular weapons have received a significant boost, and BR classes have also been balanced accordingly.

Weapon Buffs

These changes improve weapon efficiency, mobility, recoil control, and damage consistency.

SVD

• Fire interval reduced from 330ms to 300ms.

LK24 (Marksman Barrel)

• Headshot multiplier increased from 1.5x to 1.6x.
• Chest multiplier increased from 1.2x to 1.25x.

Chicom

• Burst delay reduced from 140ms to 125ms.

EM2

• Reload speed improved from 2.2s/2.6s to 2s/2.3s.
• ADS bullet spread improved.

LAG 53

• Better ADS bullet spread in both MP and BR.

Cordite

• Effective range extended from 9m/18m/25m to 13m/20m/25m.

Bruen MK9

• Reload speed reduced from 5.9s/8.47s to 4.7s/6.5s.

Hades

• Improved ADS bullet spread in Multiplayer.
• Einhorn Revolving
• Reduced vertical recoil.

Attachment Improvements

Groza

• Reduced ADS movement speed penalty on the 16.7" VDV Reinforced barrel.
• Duster Pad now grants +10% ADS movement speed.

FFAR 1

• Agency Suppressor gains an additional +10% damage range.

MIP Strike Stock

• ADS movement speed penalty reduced from -15% to -9%.

Operator Skills and Scorestreak Buffs

Ninja

• Grappling hook deployment delay reduced from 2s to 0.5s.
• Grants a temporary 200% movement speed boost after grappling.

Jet Boost

• Improved wall-running mechanics.
• Longer upgraded duration and faster recharge.

Gunship

• Health increased from 692 to 900.

Flamenaut

• Health increased from 400 to 600.
• Guardian, UAV Overload, and XS1 Goliath
• Reduced score requirements or improved mobility.

Major Nerfs

These changes target some of the strongest abilities in the current meta.

Medic

• Deployment delay increased from 2s to 10s.

Rewind

• Usage delay increased from 2s to 5s.

Desperado

• Last Stand passive removed.
• Disrupt, Support, and Defense
• Core passive bonuses reduced or removed.

EMP System

• Score cost increased from 950 to 1000.

CODM Season 6 Patch Notes: Battle Royale Class Reworks

Now, Stealth allows players to be rewarded for rotations by having damage resistance when running for an extended period, thus changing its passive ability from one that reduces noise. Tracker will now change to become useful in combat by having enemies highlighted when it deals or takes damage. Underkill also had some bugs fixed and got its effects limited.

Unlike the previous seasons that were dominated by the USS9 and VMP, CODM Season 6 balance changes provide players with the opportunity to try their hands on weapons such as Cordite, LK24, EM2, and Bruen MK9.
