eCricket Closed Beta to Roll Out in Three Phases With Separate Schedules

Lightfury Games has kept everyone on their toes, teasing the new eCricket for fans with its release just around the corner. After months of polishing and community anticipation, the Indian AAA Studio has finally unveiled the eCricket Closed Beta release schedule. Holding the closed beta tests before a wider audience gets access, the developers are counting on the testers and their feedback on eCricket gameplay and mechanics.

Set to take place in three phases, eCricket closed beta tests will be conducted over the coming weeks. Here is everything we know about the eCricket Closed Beta release schedule, gameplay mechanics and the roadmap from beta to eCricket global launch.

eCricket Closed Beta Release Schedule and Color-Based Pass System

Instead of rolling out the testing servers at once, the eCricket Closed Beta release will come out in three phases, which provide 8 days of hands-on access based on the colour of the assigned Closed Beta Pass. The first eCricket Closed Beta release date is set for October 27, 2026, for the Dual Colour Pass Holders. The second and third phases will start on November 5 and November 14, respectively.

How to Check Your Pass Colour

• Checking Your Existing Pass: If you registered with eCricket CBT already, you can sign in with the same registered email, as your pass will display one of the three colour themes.
• Registering for Pass: New players wanting to join the eCricket Closed Beta Test will have to wait for the registrations to open again.
• Required Specs & Early Testing Rewards: eCricket Closed Beta Testing will only be accessible through Android devices with 8GB+ RAM (iOS devices are not supported for beta tests). Players who participate in the CBTs will get 1,000 eCoins, a Founders Badge and a Marquee Player Card. Please note that all squad progression will be wiped out after the eCricket Closed Beta Test.

Full Roadmap to Launch: eCricket CBT to Global Release

As the dual colour pass holders will take the stage on October 27, 2026, in the first eCricket CBT, the three-phase structured beta tests are aimed at refining gameplay and connection stability.

• eCricket CBT: This is the first release variant that will let players experience the first gameplay and modes.
• eCricket Open Beta Test: After refining the game through CBTs, Lightfury Gaming will release an expanded open beta to test the matchmaking scale and introduce other game modes and personalisation inside the game.
• eCricket Global Launch: Once the developers are happy with the enhancements, eCricket's full-fledged global release will be expected in late 2026.

What Players Can Expect During the eCricket Closed Beta Test

Lightfury Games has confirmed that the playable content, along with additional features, will be available in the eCricket Closed Beta Test. Sportsdunia Team visited Lightfury Games and tested the game firsthand. Players can play multiple modes, try different camera angles and experience realistic gameplay.

• Available Modes: Against AI and Real-Time PvP
• Mechanics: Realistic ball physics

Players will also get the chance to visit the in-game store, complete quests and earn rewards in the eCricket Closed Beta Test. However, no progress from the eCricket CBT will be carried over to the official launch.

Lightfury Games is aiming to polish the game as much as possible with the eCricket Closed Beta Tests conducted in phases. Whether players get to be on the pitch from day 1 of the phase or catch action later, their feedback on the gameplay and mechanics will play an important role in eCricket’s development and global launch.
