Clash of Clans February Update 2026 Brings New Hero, Pet, and Ranked Changes

The Clash of Clans February Update 2026 is now live. This update is also going to change the way players progress through seasons and upgrade their villages. From new Hero, Pets, and important Balance Changes, the update has something for everybody.

Clash of Clans New Hero Dragon Duke

One of the largest positives is the addition of the Clash of Clans New Hero, Dragon Duke. Players must take part in a time-limited dungeon challenge from February 24 to March 1. The challenge uses a maze system where players choose different paths to earn various rewards. The Hero himself has been touted as a frontline warrior with abilities that interact with obstacles. Gold Pass Rework and the Prospector's Entry

One of the biggest changes in the Clash of Clans February Update 2026 is the revamp of the Gold Pass. The Gold Pass design now looks cleaner and more streamlined. The Daily Tasks have replaced the older reward mechanism for pacing progress. The old reward mechanism for buying the Gold Pass again has been replaced by the completion of stamp cards, which gives additional points.

Choice Nodes are another new feature, allowing players to choose between certain rewards. The Season Bank has been replaced by the Hoggy Bank, which begins fully scaled and has a five-times payout multiplier at the end of the season for Gold Pass subscribers. The Prospector, available at Town Hall 10, turns a daily amount of Ores. Many players are already saying that TH18 Max just got harder with the Clash of Clans February Update, especially with the new progression adjustments and seasonal changes.

Town Hall 18 Expansion Offers Multiple Upgrade Levels

Players of Town Hall 18 are treated to multiple upgrade levels for defenses, troops, spells, siege machines, and pets. Defensive units such as Giga Bomb, Inferno Tower, Hidden Tesla, and Spell Tower get new levels. It is worth noting that the Spell Tower upgrade grants an additional Earthquake spell slot, which is a small boost to the defense system.

Offensive units such as Witch, Hog Rider, Lava Hound, Electro Titan, Baby Dragon, and Archer also got new levels. Siege machines such as Stone Slammer got an upgrade, and Revive and Earthquake spells also got new levels. The Pet House gets an even further upgrade, and 75 Wall pieces can also be upgraded to level 19.

Clash of Clans New Pet Greedy Raven

The Clash of Clans New Pet Greedy Raven is the latest addition to the game as a flying attacker that focuses on resource targets when accompanying the Hero in a battle. The pet increases its damage output on resource targets. As explained earlier in Clash of Clans February 2026 Sneak Peek 2, this update mainly improves both attacking and defending power for late-game players.

Ranked Mode Changes and Competitive Updates

Competitive gameplay is also updated in the Clash of Clans February Update 2026. Anti-spam protection has been added, so players must finish a ranked match before starting another. Incorrect demotion warnings are now fixed.

Some of the higher leagues will need fewer battles to preserve or improve ranks. The promotion and demotion points for some leagues have been adjusted to more accurately represent player distribution. A new decoration will make its way into the Fancy Shop during the Crafted Defenses season on April 1, 2026.
