Clash of Clans Maintenance Break Today (May 26): Will the May Update Arrive Today?

CoC Players, if you are unable to access your villages and have been logged out abruptly, no worries, as the game is down for a maintenance break! Yes, Supercell recently announced a Clash of Clans Maintenance Break Today 26 May, via its social media accounts.

The CoC Maintenance Break is expected to last for around the next 40 minutes, and your attack replays will be invalid post the break. With this break, the developers are expected to roll out the much-awaited May 2026 update along with the recently announced Balance Changes.

Clash of Clans Maintenance Break: Are the CoC Servers Down Now?

Short Answer: Yes! The developers recently announced via their X (formerly Twitter) account stating that a Clash of Clans Maintenance Break is beginning soon and will last approximately for the next 40 minutes. Supercell provided a short heads-up for players to complete their remaining Clan War, Ranked Mode, or Clan Games attacks for the day.

Do remember that although the Maintenance Break in CoC is expected to last for 40 minutes, the timings may differ with the servers opening up gradually across regions. The devs may require further time to ensure the addition of new content and balance changes without disrupting current gameplay. What's Coming After Today's CoC Maintenance Break?

Supercell has previously announced to utilise this maintenance to roll in the recently announced Clash of Clans Balance Changes May 2026 and prepare the servers for new seasonal content arriving next week. Hence, after the break is over, you may need to reconsider your army as the meta could be changing with the upcoming patch update.

Additionally, further changes are incoming as part of the Clash of Clans May update, the Builder Base is now getting an extra Builder, thereby making your progress more faster. The new Builder will be available at the Shop from Builder Hall 2, with you needing to unlock all the Home Village Builder prior to get him.

The Heroes will now start getting unlocked at Town Hall 4 instead of Town Hall 7! Yes from today onwards, clashers will be able to unlock the Barbarian King at TH4, thereby getting more time to play with and level up their first hero.

Besides these additions, the devs have also mentioned changes coming to CWL League Modifiers via its recent State of Gameplay Part 2. With the Clash of Clans Clan Games May 2026 lasting for two more days, Supercell is also expected to introduce the Unlimited Hero - Dragon Duke Event starting tomorrow, as previously mentioned in the Clash of Clans May 2026 Season Calendar.
