Hero Magic Archer and Balloon Are Receiving Significant Nerfs

• Miner: Tower damage reduced (-17%)

The Executioner Evolution was notorious for dealing consistently serious damage in close range, since his knockback effect does additional damage, and with the update, his close-quarters damage has now been reduced. Clash Royale best Hero Magic Archer Decks also suffer a setback because players relied on the Hero Magic Archer to get out of sticky situations less consistently.

The Hero Knight's shield is now considerably weaker, while the Tomb Queen has been reworked slightly since she's no longer capable of spawning skeletons, making her a pure tank troop. The Miner now deals less damage to towers, affecting the Clash Royale Best Miner Decks.

Clash Royale Balance Changes July 2026: These Buffs Will Change the Meta

According to the latest Clash Royale Patch Notes, the developers are also buffing several troops, besides introducing these nerfs. Since the Tomb Queen no longer spawns skeletons, her health has been increased to fit her pure tank playstyle.

All the newly buffed cards will now get more game time in the best Clash Royale Meta Decks. Ram Rider survives longer, along with the Baby Dragon, doing more damage (highly requested buff).
