According to a recent X post from the company, the Fortnite Mobile Google Play Store release will be on March 19, 2026. Meanwhile, there was no confirmation about the iOS launch. Regardless, here's what we know about the worldwide Google Play Store release of Fortnite.

The Most-Awaited Battle Royale Will Be Back Again

According to the official data, Fortnite Mobile Google Play Store release on March 19, 2026. While it was already available in America from December 2025, now it's time for the worldwide players to get a taste of the fun Battle Royale title. Even though we're not sure whether the devs will introduce Chapter 7 Season 2 along with it or not. It's, however, highly likely that Mobile gamers will directly dive into the latest content since the arrival of Fortnite Mobile coincides with the new Chapter 7 release date.

Now, coming to the part where we've mentioned that it's not the first time. For context, this isn't the first time Fortnite will be available in the Google Play Store, a digital storefront. It was in 2020 when Epic Games introduced one of the most popular Battle Royale titles on the digital storefront. The American devs, however, introduced a direct payment option for purchasing V-Bucks.

That's when Google took a step since the American devs (Epic) have bypassed their 15-30% commision billing system, and removed the BR from the Play Store. As a result, Epic sued Google, and after a long-lasting battle, the American devs finally won. Android owners across the world can finally play with their friends on any preferred device.

Once the calendar hits March 19, 2026, mark, you can download Fortnite from Google's official digital storefront. Here's a brief on how you can do it:

Head over to the Google Play Store.
Search for Fortnite in the search bar and hit the Install button.
Log in to your Epic account with the correct credentials.
Enjoy the game on your Android device.

What Does It Mean for iOS Users?

As of now, there's no official data about the iOS global release. We, however, can expect that Epic might soon announce something related to any updates on this operating system.
