The Fortnite x Cyberpunk 2077 Wave 2 teaser has finally surfaced, and players are already trying to decode what it means for the next crossover. A short post from Epic Games referencing Arasaka’s “ultimate weapon” quickly grabbed attention across the community. The teaser image clearly points toward another collaboration between Fortnite and Cyberpunk 2077. With Chapter 7 Season 2 knocking on the door, fans can expect some Cyberpunk-heavy actions tomorrow in Fortnite.

Fortnite Cyberpunk Wave 2 Teaser Points Toward Adam Smasher

The highlight of the Cyberpunk Fortnite Wave 2 teaser is the Arasaka reference. In the Cyberpunk universe, Arasaka is the powerful corporation responsible for some of the game’s most dangerous technology and characters. That detail has led many players to believe the teaser is hinting at Adam Smasher.

If that turns out to be true, the Fortnite Adam Smasher skin would be one of the most intimidating crossover characters the battle royale has added in recent years. Smasher is known as a heavily modified cyborg mercenary who works for Arasaka and serves as one of the main threats in Cyberpunk’s story.

The first collaboration already features characters Johnny Silverhand and V, along with themed cosmetics and vehicles. Fortnite x Cyberpunk 2077 Wave 2 lineup with more recognizable faces from Night City. For now, Epic has not officially confirmed which skins will arrive.

Wave 2 Could Arrive With Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2

The Cyberpunk 2077 X Fortnite Wave 2 teaser also comes at a perfect time. Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2, titled Showdown, begins on March 19 and introduces a new Battle Pass, map updates, and additional collaborations.

Leaks from well-known Fortnite insiders have already hinted that the new season will include a large number of crossover skins. Among those rumored additions is a Cyberpunk-themed cosmetic set featuring Adam Smasher.

Fortnite x Cyberpunk 2077 Wave 2 teaser aside, Season 2 is also expected to include collaborations from several other franchises, like Overwatch, Kingdom Hearts, Toy Story, and many more. The Season 2 battle pass will be based on Looney Tunes. With the new season arriving soon, the teaser suggests that the next batch of Night City content could appear very early in the update cycle.
