Free Fire 9th Anniversary Event Introduces a Hidden Progression System

The new Free Fire Anniversary Event is set to introduce significant changes for both Battle Royale and Clash Squad. One of the biggest additions in the Free Fire OB54 9th Anniversary Event is the new Anniversary Quest system. Fresh mission tasks, character level-ups, and a weapon progression system are some of the highlights for players to look forward to in the upcoming update.

Free Fire Anniversary Quests Introduced for Battle Royale Matches

Players can start special missions through Free Fire Anniversary Quests points or Vending Machines found across the Battle Royale map. The three quest types are:

• Collect Fragments: Gather Anniversary Fragments to complete a crystal.
• Reforge the Sword: Restore the Knight's Sword with your teammates.
• Coins in the Sky: Use jump pads to collect floating coins.

Skill Boost System Adds Another Layer of Progression

According to the Free Fire OB54 Patch Notes, players can now unlock Skill Boosts during a match. Once the meter is full, they can choose an upgrade to enhance their active character skill. Every qualified character has two upgrade options for their active skill.

Chrono

• Time Veil (Boost 1): Creates a force field that blinds anyone who is not inside while taking 1000 damage.
• Time Drift (Boost 2): A shield is created that follows the player and can be pinned to the ground later on.

Homer

• UAV Shockwave (Boost 1): Conducts an extra scan when the drone can strike its target.
• Super Drone (Boost 2): Enables the player to glide with a powered drone, along with enhanced movement speed.

Oscar

• Phantom Dash (Boost 1): This boost extends the range of Oscar’s dash move.
• Sustained Dash (Boost 2): This boosts Oscar’s dash duration and increases movement speed over time.

Wukong

• Camo Decoy (Boost 1): Makes a moving decoy once Wukong changes his form.
• Cloned Camo (Boost 2): Creates two additional bushes while camouflaging.

Kassie

• Mutual Focus (Boost 1): This boost restores health to Kassie and heals allies.
• Echoed Bond (Boost 2): This boost creates mini Kassies that deal additional damage.

Skyler

• Sticky Rhythm (Boost 1): Creates a tracking area that continuously deals damage to Gloo walls.
• Split Rhythm (Boost 2): Attaches to multiple Gloo walls simultaneously.

Alok

• Speed Remix (Boost 1): Increases aura distance and movement speed boost.
• Heal Remix (Boost 2): Increases healing power while the ability is activated.

Koda

• Synced Vision (Boost 1): Provides information about enemy positions to allies.
• Imprinted Vision (Boost 2): Puts marks on enemies, causing more damage when used.

Clash Squad 9th Anniversary Event Introduces New Progression System

The Free Fire OB54 9th Anniversary Event brings some changes to the Clash Squad game mode, too. Players can use Skill Boosts faster in the game, Weapon Awakeners mid-game, and later rounds of the Clash Squad mode. All these game modes have a new CS Perk Points system to help players get upgrades.

CS Perk Points Replace Cyber Points

One of the biggest Free Fire OB54 Patch Notes changes to Clash Squad is the replacement of Cyber Points with Perk Points. Players can earn Perk Points by capturing Cyber Airdrops and through certain rounds. They may be used for upgrades that remain available throughout the game. It allows players to improve their skills in battle and select the appropriate upgrade path.

Additional Clash Squad Adjustments Included in the Update

• The OB54 Patch Notes Free Fire also includes several balance and quality-of-life changes. Med Kits have been removed from Coin Machines, but their ground spawn rate has been increased.
• Revived players can now keep a maximum of 600 FF Coins. Meanwhile, the Enhanced Hammer price has increased from 400 to 600 FF Coins, and Bolt Maker can only be purchased once per match card.

Gloo Wall Mechanics Have Also Been Adjusted

In the Free Fire OB54 9th Anniversary Event, each Gloo Maker level now increases the Gloo Wall limit by one. Gloo Walls obtained from eliminations and loot boxes have also been standardized to one. Another small change affects Team EP purchases. Players can receive some CS Cash back when buying Team EP if their teammates have already purchased Mushrooms in that round.
