The mobile gaming industry was on the move last month, in July 2025. The past month saw many huge esports events in the category of mobile gaming. From PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) to FIFAe World Cup, July 2025 was a mammoth success from the point of gaming publishers. The latest rankings of the gaming publishers for the month of July reveal an expected trend. Most of the mobile gaming giants, encapsulated the market and dominated the download and revenue charts. While some publishers climbed up the leaderboards, others fell or remained stagnant in their positions. Gaming sharks like Tencent enjoyed an unprecedented rise both in terms of revenue and downloads past month. The revenue standings also saw the inclusion of an OG publisher for the first time.

Best Mobile Game Publishers by Downloads (July 2025)

Cyprus-based Azur Games dominated the download charts with more than 113 million users downloading their funny animated casual games. BabyBus finished as the runner-up in July with more than 92 million users downloading their kids-oriented games. The OG giants, Miniclip, finished third with 87 million total downloads across its multiple games. Tencent managed to hold onto its position at the tenth spot and remained the only publisher to appear in both downloads and revenue charts.

Best Mobile Game Publishers by Revenues (July 2025)

Tencent once again topped the revenue charts by a mile. The company is one of the mobile gaming sharks, and the numbers reflect the same. The Chinese giants generated a revenue of more than $500 million in July 2025, most of which came via their battle royale game PUBG. They were $300 million clear of the runners-up Century Games, which generated around $202 million with their set of simulation games.

FunPlus and Dream Games fiercely contested the third and fourth positions, raking in $155.3 million and $155 million, respectively. NetEase Games solidified its fifth-place standing with a robust $141.2 million, while Scopely made significant strides, earning $136.9 million. This success is largely attributed to the unstoppable performance of MONOPOLY GO!, which generated a remarkable $109.4 million this month. The list for July 2025 saw the inclusion of eFootball's publisher Konami for the first time. They were placed at the fourteenth spot, having generated more than $66 million.
